First time customer. Excellent chicken phở soup. You can’t beat the price too, $ 7 for a big bowl of soup that can feed up to 4 people.

We visited for the first time today. Saw the rave reviews on the Charbroiled spring rolls and ordered an order of that, the cream cheese rangoons, shrimp with sauté vegetables, and the charbroiled pork with meatloaf plates. First thing that made me wary was the fact that we waited almost ten minutes for the lady to take our order, and that was after the grace period in which we decided on what to eat. After the first few minutes of waiting, we both grabbed our phones and started playing with it. Food came out in a reasonable time, and was piping hot. Pork Spring Rolls#2 on the menu: After reading the reviews recommending this particular appetizer, I ordered it. The charboiled pork meat was sweet but flavorful. Now, the downfall was the peanut sauce… that was sweet, too. I don’t like it when a dish is too sweet. Basically, you’re combining the sweetness of the meat and the sauce when eating it together. So, we ate the rolls by itself. I’ve had better spring rolls and sauce. The portion was generous and the price was inexpensive compared to some other establishments. Maybe I’ll try the shrimp rolls in my next visit. Cream Cheese Rangoons#7A: It was a little bit costlier than other restaurants, but waaay more generous with the amount. We loved the rangoons and the price for them. Can’t beat this. Shrimp w/sautéed veggies: Not that much shrimp(very common in these type of establishments), and a whole lot of vegetables. I was planning to be disappointed, but to my surprise the vegetables were darn good. I didn’t finish it, and so we packed it to go. Charbroiled Pork w/shredded pork&meatloaf: Mediocre. Tasted like any other place with this dish. Not the best, but not the worst either. Doggy bagged this dish home, too. Portion was generous. On a sidenote, the beverage prices were expensive considering other places charge you less. $ 2.25 for soda? Whoa. $ 2.00 for hot/cold tea? I’ve seen other places charge half of that and sometimes only $ 0.50. So, we drank water instead. During our time dining there, there was no refills on the water even when we were running low. I was down to the ice, and munching on it. Makes me wonder if they would’ve refilled our drinks if we had ordered sodas or tea. Hmmm… Would I go back? Depends. Phó Saigon Bay is closer and tastes better. But if I’m in the area and craving Vietnamese food, I’ll be back. Maybe, this time I’ll order something different to try. I would recommend people try it, because everyone’s taste buds are different.(:

Now that the weather is turning cooler, I really enjoy a good bowl of Phở. This place is close to home and got decent reviews, so we figured we’d give it a shot. I’m glad we did! As we walked in, we were promptly greeted by the friendly lady at the register. We took a seat in a booth, and perused the menu. They have a broad range of offerings, so there will almost certainly be something for everyone. The prices are also a bit less than average($ 7-$ 8 per entrée). For the price, I feel this is one of the better values around town. We went with the #10(rare sliced beef phở) and the #101(combination plate). The combination plate was good, but the phở was great! I am happy to find this place, and will likely be making several return trips this winter.

Decent food nothing to rave about, I was actually expecting this place to be better. The food was lacking flavor and just warm not hot, like if it was just reheated instead of cooked.

As a college student on a budget, I love how cheap their dishes are especially for the quality of the food. You can’t go wrong with their dry rice noodles and their phở dishes. They also give a pretty hefty portion. Like other reviews mentioned, service isn’t exceptional but it will do. The waiters are still nice and responsive. Overall, had a good experience and would come back for the food and their prices.

This place is a Sacramento gem. The lady who always runs the front of the house is so sweet and polite. The food has never been anything less than wonderful, and I’ve never tried anything here that didn’t taste amazing. My favorite is the rice noodle bowl with charbroiled bbq pork, but their bigger dishes of vegetables and sweet and sour pork and chicken are also really good. The appetizers are generous portions like everything else on the menu and my favorite is probably their tempura vegetables or the pork spring rolls.

My all-time favorite charbroiled pork! I grew up in the area and haven’t been back for years, but I visited the other day and am glad to say that it hasn’t changed. I finally tried their phở this time and it was also delicious! I can’t really judge the authenticity of Vietnamese cuisine, but it sure does feel like a home-cooked meal. The atmosphere is as simple as your distant aunt’s living room. If this is a family establishment, then they’re doing it right.

Love this little place. The owner is very nice. The flavor of the food is good. This place is also good for vegetarians. They have a good vegetarian selection. The portions are very good. I never leave this place without a food box. The cream cheese wontons are filled with cream cheese. They don’t hold back in this place. And the price is just right. You won’t be disappointed in this little place.

Rice Noodle is located near the Arden area in Sacramento, and if you need a Vietnamese fix in your life, this probably isn’t the worst place to go to. I’ve been going to this place for years and nothing has changed in terms of décor and service. The place is mediocre as far as cleanliness and service. Rarely do you get greeted when you walk in, but I rarely ever hold customer service againstAsian facilities only because I know how they roll. One of the perks of this place is they offer everything in terms of Vietnamese cuisine. If you’re craving Phở, vermicelli bowls, noodles, they have it all, including family meals that come with rice. My friends and I used to come to this place in college all the time for family meals and their food is always on point. The sweet an sour soup is an all time favorite of time along with their caramelized fish. Recently I tried to won ton noodle soup which is definitely hefty and good. The wontons are good, the filling is okay, and the broth is super flavorful. The only downside to the menu is it’s all in English, so hopefully for us Vietnamese folk, try to find the description of what you may be looking for, or just ask the waitress. Drinks were hardly refilled, smiles were close to none, but if you’re okay with just coming in for some good food then definitely try this place out. Prices are fair, but you could probably find cheaper on Stockton Blvd.

Have you ever witnessed a waitress pour water from a previous customer into the refill pitcher? Yes I’ve seen that for the first time here. Let me just say, I am Vietnamese and I’ve worked at Vietnamese restaurants so I know how this experience should work. Upon arrival, we sat ourselves with no greeting. Once our menus were given to us, we had about 2 minutes until our waitress returned asking rudely if we were ready. When ordering, we said our orders in Vietnamese and got a blank look. Our waitress didn’t know what in the world we were talking about. So we described the item and she semi understood. I asked her how they make the papaya salad and she described it nicely but when my plate came out they put banh mi(Vietnamese sandwich) pickled carrots and onions. NOPAPAYAATALLINTHEPAPAYASALAD!!! I didn’t want to be rude, so I pushed it aside and ordered a bun thit nuong cha goi(vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and an egg roll) lettuce wasn’t fresh, in fact it was very soggy. Egg roll was Chinese style and very salty. After both our food arrived is when I seen the waitress cleaning up a table after a customer had left and I seen her pour the water from the table back into the pitcher with lemon inside. When I seen that, I pushed my food away and couldn’t bare to eat another bite. I felt like throwing up after seeing that. Because no wonder why my food tasted recycled! Anyways, never again. I’m looking into informing the health department about this place because it’s ridiculous.

So… I won’t be returning to this place. I was pretty excited to try them out since Arden only has a few good authentic Vietnamese restaurants(most of the good ones are in South Sac.) but I was disappointed. 1. I guess the first sign should have been when I walked in the place was deserted but I was considering the time I went in, which was about 8:00PM. The place was cute and clean with cute little designs everywhere. 2. Some of the stuff on the menu did not look like your usual Vietnamese restaurant menus but I found some good options anyways. I ended up ordering a Vermicelli bowl which comes with rice noodles, egg roll, meat of your choice, veggies and sauce. However, when I got the food, my meat certainly looked burnt, like they overcooked the meat but did not want to redo it so just decided to leave it as is. 3. I’m somewhat of an indecisive customer so I like to take time and see what my options are before I make a final decision(yea I know, I’m one of those annoying customers who never knows what they want lol sorry). However, when I was trying to decide the waitress just kept sitting there waiting and looking so I felt kind of rushed and awkward but overall she wasn’t rude. I tried this place and it just did not leave a good impression on me so I most likely won’t be returning. Usually if the food is off the rocks and customer service is okay or bad I will still show up for the food but this place just did not hit the spot for me on any levels.

I was working down the street and my boss suggested we have lunch here. I was very surprised, the food was very tasty. I got the BBQ pork, shrimp, and spring roll. It was great! You got to eat it with plum and Sriracha sauce. They serve fresh brewed iced tea so that’s a bonus star from me. My lunch including drink was $ 9.70. The place is clean and the employees are friendly. This is my second visit and I will be back.

Really wanted to like this place. I live in socal lots of good vietnamese places where i live. I love to support local. Was in the mood for some piping hot phở and fresh spring rolls. Negative zero on the décor. Ok i can overlook that if they food was amazing… Not so clean condiments on the table. Ok now this food better be amazeballs… Luke warm service… Icing on the cake tonight. Bummer…warm phở? Really… And you put my veggies in for me. No fresh lime or basil. No jalapeño? What is up? Premade shrimp spring rolls with old lettuce? Meh. 12.00. Could have been free and would not come back. Monday night i was literally the only one in there and had to walk back to the kitchen to get my check. Sorry guys. Wish there was more love and passion behind what you do here… Im sure back in the day there was.

Three stars for the tasty cream cheese rangoons(YUM)! The boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try last week. The service was decent, prices moderate, and the menu looked appealing. Thankfully we weren’t in a huge hurry because the wait time on food took awhile. I ordered their«vegetarian» sautéed tofu with asparagus. I use quotes around vegetarian because I could definitely taste some sort of meat stock in the sauce. :(The boyfriend enjoyed his rice and pork plate. With all the other Vietnamese options around the Arden Arcade area, I’d go elsewhere. Unless you’re craving delicious cream cheese rangoons — come here! PS: Anyone else feel weird for having to walk through their drink station/kitchen to get to the bathroom? Awkwaaaard.

Good food. Fast. Borderline painful service. But still worth going. Been coming to eat here since 2006. Everyone I’ve ever taken here has enjoyed the food and we always put it on the top of our lists for meet up meal spots. Tip: skip on ordering beverages. It’s a win if you get it before your check comes!

I tried this place out on a whim driving by, and man was I very surprised! The outside definitely needs a remodeling but the inside was clean, outdated but still very clean interior. I stopped in for lunch and it was completely empty inside. While I was ordering and eating, there was a number of to go orders. Obviously other people know about this hidden gem! I was eating by myself so I decided to order the #51 or else I would have tried their special. Which you get to make your own delicious spring rolls! The #51 was Lemongrass Chicken w/a crispy egg roll over vermicelli noodles and first off the bowl looked amazing. The portions were big and on-point, and the flavor was great also! Only complaint is the chicken was a little on the dry side. I definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner and I’m definitely going back when I’m in the area.
