Peet’s Coffee & Tea

Peet’s suites me as far as being a quick chain coffee spot. I am not a coffe expert rather a iced mocha on the daily coffee person. They are consistant at any location as far as drinks are concerned. As far as staff and speed of service this is my favorite in the Sacramento area. This is a small location so they need to get drinks out during rush hours and they do. Always polite, remember your drink, name, etc. The only downside is the parking can be slim at times and alot of uppity people often congregate there. If you just want to get in and out with a solid drink I would recommend this location.

Absolutely a complete fan of Peet’s. Love their matcha green tea latte (it tastes great sweetened with honey). I would say that the tables are quite small, but overall nice atmosphere.

This was my first time at peets and I was plenty surprised how much I like the coffee here. As a college student, I’ve drank my fair share of coffee around the csus area. I got a iced Carmel macchiato and it’s delicious. It has more coffee flavor than Starbucks and I really enjoy it.
The reason for four stars though is the horrible layout of the store. The order and pick up areas are confusing. People who were done ordering just stood and crowded the pick up area which was also next to where the cash register is. So when I went to get my drink, I had to struggle my way through the people and since the drinks don’t come with lids already on I was fearful of spilling on somebody as I turned around to leave. Overall, great coffee and I will be coming back.

I’m so glad that Peet’s gets back to the previous standard. It has been a long time since my last visit. Today, I ordered a large iced caramel macchiato and it tasted so good (much better than Starbucks). The barista is the same as before, so I believe Peet’s might change back to the previous coffee bean. Will come back again for sure.

Friendly, fast and fabolous LOVE espresso javiva, I won’t go anywhere else for my blended coffee, it’s robust, just how coffee should taste and best described as Zip-​a-​Dee-​Doo-​Dah!

I love the music they play, my total ideal coffee shop to study and to get work done! They are improving a lot! I have been to tupelo, temple, starbucks, insight on fair oaks, coffee garden, Boulevard Coffee Roasting Company, ect — but so far none of these coffee shop can compete to the lattes here on Fair Oaks Blvd!
I am indeed a latte connoisseur and I just can not simply get enough of them here! Their latte is so well balanced with the coffee, milk, foam, sweetener, and they are starting to get fancy with their art! ;)
Keep up with the good work, I hope to taste a even more fresh coffee bean someday! ;)
This is the coffee shop that I even dare to get bold and explore their other coffee specialty. They are number one on my list so far.

Worst customer service. I stood behind a customer who was being rang up at a register, and when that customer stepped away, the cashier immediately ran away to clean up the condiment counter. He didn’t even acknowledge me or say, «I’ll be right with you.» The milk and sugar can wait; it doesn’t take long to ring up my order.
And I swear, the employees here are idiots. Every time I’ve come here, they’ve messed up my order. I speak English clearly, and my drink isn’t complicated at all, so I don’t understand why they keep messing it up. I’d rather give my money to the dreaded Starbucks instead of these dumbasses.

I love peets coffee… really I do… but holy mother, their store layouts are brutal. That said, it is an inconvenience I will gladly tolerate for their cold brew coffee and banana blueberry muffin.

Coffee was just what I wanted. Nice and strong. They even had me taste it before I left so they can change it any way that I like if need be! Great customer service!

I’m not a huge Peets coffee fan. My husband loves the coffee here. the ice tea if good. Customer service is lacking. Not very friendly. Small cramped coffee shop & horrible parking. Skip this place and drive across the street to Temple. Friendly staff. Still crappy parking but the coffee is great.

I owe this location and update after being contacted by the manager. I appreciate the fact that they took this issue seriously enough to respond, and to give my wife her next drink on the house.
It’s the little things, and Peet’s wants to do them right, and hopefully we won’t see a repeat of the sugar-​free syrup fiasco!

I love the coffee and staff here but the people are SO rude
One person does not need a four person

Very good coffee and chai tea! I loved the outdoor seating option, which allowed me to bring my puppy on a coffee date. I’m deciding to leave a review because of the great customer service I received. When I received order I was given the wrong drink, and they immediately made the correct one, with no hesitation and no annoying looks. Will definitely be coming back the next time I am in El Dorado hills.

Pretty good. This was my first time there and I had a myan iced mocha. The people were very friendly and knowledgeable, the coffee did take a while but it was very busy that day.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I wasn’t sure what to order and staff readily helped me choose a popular item. I also had a voucher for another location that the cashier had no issue redeeming for me. Great customer service and the black tie coffee was awesome!

I ordered the Cinnamon hazelnut latte with steamed almond milk and it was yum! The staff at this location are really friendly and remember all their regular patrons. I used to be a [coffeeshopname] junkie– I even had a pile of gift cards and their special «gold» card, but Peet’s, you have won me over! It is a define plus when they offer unique drinks, vegan baked goods, and almond milk instead of just soy milk :)

Love this store and the location of it. So fun and relaxing to sit outside on a nice sunny day, watching the cars drive by. I just love the atmosphere here. The employee’s here are always so friendly and welcoming. I’ve only came here on my work breaks to grab a quick cup of coffee but I wish I had more time to sit and enjoy this store.
If you like Chai drinks… i highly recommend their Dirty Chai that has espresso in it!!!

The location of this particular Peets is perfect. It definitely gives you the welcome to fall feeling. It’s right down the street from Sacramento State University so if you have a lunch break and don’t want the coffee on campus, this is an option for you. I enjoy coffee very much and I will say that the actual quality of the coffee here could be better. I’m surprised because Peets usually has some of the better coffee beans. I think the reason I feel entitled to critique about this is because I used to rave about the coffee here and at one point called it my favorite. However, today, Peets is very much similar to the quality of a starbucks (it kills me to say that). Much like starbucks, Peets is delicious, you go there for the mixed beverages and not the bean itself.
They are offering a seasonal salted carmel rice crispy treat — delicious! I’m not usually a fan of rice crispy but this one won me over!
You’ll find that it’s located in a nice little shopping center with sorts of little shops. Peets has an excellent amount of outdoor seating where we decided to sit because it looked so inviting. It was quiet and cozy outside and we had a great time.
I rate this place 5 stars because the transaction is always pleasant here and the drinks are good. As I mentioned before, the coffee bean itself has become pretty generic tasting but if you’re looking for a good cappuccino or lattee you can find one here.
I will be back to enjoy some more of the awesome outdoor seating section and their salted carmel rice crispy with a warm coffee!

I was in dire need of a mid– afternoon caffeinated pick-​me-​up. I had been driving down Fair Oaks boulevard in the Arden Arcade district and was momentarily stopped at the light when I glanced to my right and noticed a quaint little strip mall shopping plaza. At the intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Munroe sits a Pete’s Coffee & Tea. I pulled into the parking lot, quickly parked my car, and scurried into the store. The smell off hot caffeinated elixir had beckoned me. I stepped up to the counter and ordered a small hot Chai. As soon as I placed my order I felt a surge of relief as I knew that I would be gulping a warm frothy spciy chai in a few minutes.
I reminded myself to breath and looked around the house. There was an empty bistro table next to a large window. I took a seat and started fiddling around with my iPhone (its a bad annoying habit of mine.) Within a few moments the barista called out my name, and I briskly walked up to the counter again and picked up my drink. I thanked the barista several times for such quick friendly service. She smiled and said your welcome in a friendly voice. I sat back down and sipped my tea. It was frothy and warm, but it was unsweetened and lacked the Indian spices that a chai usually has. On the other hand, the tea used as the base was very relaxing and delicious. Hmmmm… I was feeling a bit conflicted; good tea leaves, warm and frothy, but lacking spices and not sweetened with honey. This is why I gave Pete’s 4 out of 5 stars.
I’m not sure if all Pete’s prepare everything exactly the same, but I will have to discover that on another visit. To be continued…

I had to give an extra star because someone from corporate reached out to me personally to apologize for my last mediocre visit to this Peet’s location. She even included 2 complimentary drinks to ensure that I go back. Well I did go back a few weeks later, and sadly, they stopped offering my favorite drink, the Mayan chocolate mocha. Super disappointed that I missed out but since Peet’s was paying for it, I went ahead and ordered the matcha green tea latte without sweetner instead. It was smooth, slightly creamy, and with just a hint of sweetness from the green tea flavor itself. Pretty yummy.
Just yesterday I went to a different Peet’s location a few miles away, and was super happy that they still offered the Mayan chocolate mocha! So I got exactly what I wanted and for free (thanks, Kristina!). Just not from THIS Peet’s Coffee. I still don’t understand why different locations would offer different menus, but at least I know which one I’ll be going to from now on.
