I meant to post a review a long time ago, but I just looked at my hair and even a couple months later I still love my haircut and color from Kelly! She has a great eye and is very talented, I would wait for her if any one else is there styling.

All of these Unilocalers know what they’re talking about! Based on these fabulous reviews and recommendations from friends, I came here with an almost 2 year old for a first haircut. Pulling into the parking lot, it’s not what I expected (I don’t know what I was expecting), but Kelly was awesome. She was very friendly and quick while cutting the hair of a moving target. I would definitely recommend her!

Love my haircut !! Took a few weeks for me to get used to the length, but since my hair grows so fast, it’s perfect now. Love the shape that you cut it into. Kelly, Thank you so much. Will be back when I need my next hair cut.

Kelly is great. Cheap, excellent haircuts. Fellas, don’t let «beauty salon» in the name scare you off. Kelly does lots of men’s haircuts, and does a great job. $ 10 for men as of right now. I always make an appointment, but you don’t have to.

I’ve been taking my sons here for more than 2 years Kelly has always done a wonderful job keeping them from squirming too much. A nice neighborhood place– no frills, but a great cut at a great price!

Kelly is AMAZING! My daughter recently wanted her hair cut super short and the place we went did an ok job, but not good enough to return. Went to see Kelly today and she trimmed it and cleaned it up and showed her how easy it was to do in the morning! Plus, she squeezed us in! All for less than I payed at the other place! Soooooo highly recommend her! Taking my youngest there next!

I just moved to Sacramento and have been searching for a salon that has a lot of experience, but was relatively inexpensive. I just had my hair cut for the first time at Paradise Beauty Salon. While I was waiting I watched Kelly make a woman in her 60s look like she was in her 40s. It definitely made me feel better about this place.
It’s a Mom and Pop-​kind of salon so it’s just Kelly and someone else (I think it’s her husband). You gotta be patient though, sometimes they have to step away in the middle of cutting your hair to answer the phone. Even though they are short staffed, they take their time and yield awesome results. Walk-​ins are welcomed, but it’s better to be nice and make an appointment. They are busy.
They aren’t as chatty as other salons, but they are very nice. They even drove a client home after her haircut.
I was a little confused about the price of the haircut. Someone on Unilocal said it was $ 10, their window says it’s $ 10, a website said it was $ 15, and their sign inside the salon said a woman’s haircut was $ 15. I was charged $ 20 for my haircut. I’m not unhappy with the price of the haircut, it should just be clearer.
I was actually more excited about the price than my haircut. The price of a haircut at a different salon might have been equal to the price of a cut and color at Paradise Beauty Salon. People say, «You get what you pay for,» but I don’t think it’s always applicable. The standard for any hair salon (expensive or not) is to give the customer exactly what they want. I was happy with my haircut; it was exactly what I wanted for the best price. I will definitely be coming back.

I’ve paid twice/​thrice as much for mediocre haircuts around the world, and for some reason, there’s no place that cuts my hair as well, fast, and as cheap ($ 10 for women, $ 7 for men) as this place. There’s no bullshit– no trying to sell you expensive hair products or get you to pay more for extraneous services. If I just want a trim, that’s all I get.
I would say that for those who don’t speak Chinese/​Cantonese– you might want to come in with a picture of what you want in case you can’t explain it in simple terms.
There’s also a level of trust involved when they go at your hair– I’m rather neurotic about my hair, and I’ve found that just sitting back and letting them do their thing has always resulted in me being satisfied (even when midway through I’ll be thinking «jeez, that’s a lot of hair they’re taking off…»)
Overall, best place for the price if you want a no frills hair salon.

I needed a new hair style and has gotten a few recommendations to go see Kelly. I told her to cut whatever style she thinks fit my frame. At first I was a little worried because the style was a little out if my comfort zone. Low and behold! I have gotten so many compliments since my new do. How much younger I looked! Kelly is awesome! Kind, friendly and reasonable!

Kelly gives 110%. Don’t go here if you are looking for a fancy spa glass of wine experience. But if you want fabulous color, a quick trim or an inexpensive cut for your kids, this is the place. Reasonable prices, and a stylist who will fit you in, after hours even. Great local business!

Kelly did a fantastic job with my son’s hard-​to-​cut hair! He is four-​years-​old and I have taken him to every children’s hair-​cutting place in Sacramento and Natomas and cuts have ranged form mediocre to awful. At Paradise Beauty Salon, Kelly pointed out to be that because his hair is so straight it needs to be gently razor-​cut (rather than cut with scissors, which shows all the cut lines) and it needs to not be cut too short. As worked fast while talking and in something like 10 minutes flat, she was done and he looked great. No, there is no fancy race car chair for the kids to sit in or videos for them to watch but she had a little Superman laptop toy that kept my son entertained and she worked so fast he hardly noticed the cutting process at all. I was shocked at the end by the price – a mere $ 10! I will be recommending Kelly at Paradise to all of my friends and I will definitely be back!

Kelly does great work. She is very friendly and accommodating. Her prices are reasonable, too. She works really hard and deserves the community’s support. (The website link on Unilocal is wrong). Just call and make an appointment.

I love this place! I started going there because Kelly is so great with my kids and she always does a fabulous job! I highly recommend her.

I was looking for a place to get my toddler’s hair cut at a kid’s salon when I saw a recommendation for Kelly. I called at 9:45am and was in the salon by 11am the same day. My son LOATHES haircuts and she handled him with kindness and patience… and had his hair cut beautifully within 10 minutes! She’s now «it» for all his future cuts!
