Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse

So its been awhile since I have wandered in here but thought I would try again. There are so many cute shoes and some actually fit me now I found a few wide width options but still 85% of the cute shoes without wide widths don’t fit me. I was looking for some Teva’s or something along those lines for a vacation and came in here hoping to find some options. I did find a few and they seemed to have my size in stock of all the styles I looked at. But none of them really «spoke» to me. However summer apparently is over because they have their shipment of boots in already and what do you know? I reluctantly tried on a pair and they fit, and were on sale! So needless to say I got a pair of boots. The staff was helpful and always on hand for a question but they don’t seem to know about any special offers that they have for coupons etc. I specifically asked the cashier since there was another few pairs I was interested in but didn’t want to spend that much for them. She said they recently got a new system and she said I could go online but she was already ringing me up. I am embarrassed to say this but I didn’t notice until later at lunch that there was a check in offer right here on Unilocal and that is the reason I am writing this review is to maybe save someone else the embarrassment and let you know to either use the text offer or the check in offer of $ 10 off your purchase. I went back after I saw this and they were happy to adjust the price and refund me the coupon so all was saved! So I am a new fan of the store now that I know the secret coupon and that is the reason I deducted one star since the staff seemed to know nothing about this, even when asked specifically. I am OK to share my phoopah, just to help another fellow Unilocaler.

What is it about shoes? Oh my god, I swear I lose my mind when I walk into this store. I get the worst case of «the gimmies» ever! I have more pairs of shoes than I do articles of clothing and I can’t even break out of my shoe frenzy enough to feel ashamed of myself over it. Of course I rationalize by saying to myself that shoes are an investment and what we have on our feet can really make an impact on our overall body comfort and bla bla bla. Really I just want pretty shoes. See how much I am rambling? That should show you right there how pathetic my shoe love is.
This store is great for a shoe fix. I decide on a limit before going in so I can keep myself in check. The clerks are friendly, it is easy to find what you want, AND they even have some decent shoes for my boyfriend who wears size 13 (which seems to be harder to find than I had thought when we first went shoe shopping together).

Off-​Broadway is probably my favorite store in Country Club Plaza. Great selection of shoes and purses (comparable to DSW– see my other review), good prices, even a decent clearance section lining the whole back of the store. I’ve bought many a shoe & matching purse for weddings and other formal events. I love that they’re right near my house. I LOVE love that you get a future discount on every receipt. I think it’s 10% of your current purchase price… so if you spend $ 60, you get $ 6 off your next purchase. SCORE!

SHOES!!! Everywhere you look you see shoes. They have a HUGE selection of shoes… and small selection of purses and socks. Very spacious and organized. A very friendly staff but seems like they are always short staffed. For such a big shoe store you would think they would have more employees to help out but most I’ve seen is maybe 2 or 3 employees. Not that I needed help… just observing.
Prices are very reasonable. Cheaper than most discounted stores except ROSS of course… lol. The best part about shopping at Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse is with each purchase, you get a percentage off your next purchase. You can save the percentage from each purchase and combine them together for a bigger discount. SAve your receipts!!!

It’s worth checking out the clearance section in the back of the store — you can generally find some extra good bargains, but the prices of the majority of the shoes is pretty reasonable. They have a pretty good discount deal if you buy shoes you can get credit to buy more shoes as long as you’re organized and keep your receipts handy.
It’s a hunt for sizes but if you find something you love you can generally ask if it’s available in another store and they’ll hold it for you if it’s something you can’t live without (it happens). The staff is fairly friendly and if you’re in a bind about the right pair the people in the store are typically friendly if you feel comfortable trusting the decision in a stranger.

Shoes. I lust for shoes. Pretty, pretty shoes. Kitten heels, wedges, slingbacks, pumps, stacked heel spectators… just those words can send me into a shopping frenzy. So, you can imagine that living close to Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse might be bad for my pocketbook.
And, it would be, if the place wasn’t so darn cheap. While they don’t carry the couture designer names like Prada or Jimmy Choo, they do have super cute styles by designers such as Carlos Santana, Steve Madden, and Michael Kors, all lined up like good little soldiers in a big warehouse style store. If you like butt-​ugly shoes by Clarks and Mephisto, you can find them here too. I think they might even have those weird looking shoes — they call them sneakers or something like that. Selections rotate in and out, so there is always something new.
Best of all, prices are typically lower than Zappos and other major department stores. And, unlike Zappos, you can try them on first. A big plus, especially if you can’t stand your UPS guy. With each purchase, you get a percentage off your next purchase, so save your receipts.
If you are like me, you won’t be saving them for long, because the shoe bug is always biting. Time to go get my next discount!
