This place should not be in business. Prior to the new Director, Christina Perez, the executive team was actually okay. When Christina arrived, she fired all the old staff and hired all of her own people. This is pretty customary when new management takes over; however when working with an aging population it can be traumatizing. Christina is petty and has serious ego issues. This is a not a good combination when someone is a «Director» and works at an assisted living facility with vulnerable senior citizens. Her staff, is hand picked by her so you can imagine how they too lack basic bedside manner. This company is owned by a multi millionaire who works out of San Mateo. He actually is decent, but he owns many of these facilities and likely does not oversee all the day to day operations of each one. It is my understanding that Christina does a great job of cutting costs, which is likely why she is still there. There have been many complaints filed against her with Community Care Licensing — but this does not seem to be an issue for the owner. Hence, the saving of a dollar trumps quality care. It really is sad that these types of places exist with our aging population. If you are looking here for your loved one… I would encourage you to look elsewhere. Your loved one will not get the love and attention that the company markets. They are all about the money.
