Muir Way Market

This place has a surprisingly large meat section that is always well stocked. They also have half priced meat they sell on the due date. That being said, stay away ya bastids I need that meat! Just kidding, there is enough to share. Staff are friendly. Parking is always ample. Store is acceptably clean but the store/​fixtures are old. Prices are low on some things, moderate on others. Im usually in and out in 5 min. It often times beats going to a larger market with all the associated hassle.

ok, i live just a couple blocks from this place and probably make it over there once a week or so — always during the daytime since it closes at dark — doesnt matter what time dark hits because theyve predicted it and have the locks snapped in for the night. there are always a few beat up cutlesses in the lot and usually a stack of hacked up bikes leaning against the wall. they sell a shit ton of 40s in the early to mid afternoon. lots of swisher sweets, too. i get ice cream and some junkfood and an occasional page of beef jerky. their prices are on-​par with other midsized ghettomarts and i feel slightly safer at this one because its rather large and there are plenty of good places to hide should the bullets come a flowin.
I will say that the family that runs it is very nice and helpful but they should consider throwing a uniform and a badge patch on one of the thugs out front and pay him a 40 an hour to watch over the store and its customers. just an illusion of having someone on my side while im there would greatly increase the overall experience.
