I just have to write a review after seeing how amazing my bfs hair turned out after Tyra worked his magic. We usually drive to Stockton for my boyfriends barber but thanks to Tyra, that won’t be necessary anymore!
Thanks to Unilocal,I was able to run into pictures of Tyra’s work and book an appt. for the boyfriend. Tyra was very professional and quick to get him in. Upon arriving, Tyra was very accommodating and styled my bfs hair exactly like the picture he had showed Tyra.
I’m definitely referring my friends and family to Tyra. Thanks again for making my boyfriends hair look so nice :)

Through the recommendation from my aunt who Unilocal,My boyfriend and I decided to get our haircut from Wendy since I’ve been so discouraged with Great Clips, and other chain salons that really messed up my hair! I’m SO GLAD I came to Wendy! She’s so amazing, friendly, helpful, and professional. The salon location and shop itself isn’t all fancy and the neighborhood is questionable, but Wendy is a diamond in the rough. :)
She knew exactly what she was doing! No second-​guessing during the hair cut and just went with it. She I did give down input and advices on what I should do with my hair but wasn’t pushy at all. Even though my haircut had very subtle changes from what was already there, she worked her magic. My hair now looks fuller and had more volume, and isn’t choppy at all! It blended really well.
Wendy will be my boyfriend’s and my go-​to for many years to come!
FYI: CASH ONLY!

I just got back from this place and had probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon without getting a haircut. When I arrived there were two barbers working in the second and third work stations on the right side of the salon. Neither of them greeting me, albeit eye contact was made. They simply ignored I was even there and went about their business with their clients. I waited for about 5 minutes while watching the barbers do little work while entertaining their clients.
Despite the glorifying reviews of Wendy, I will not be back.

This time I had my cut & style done by WENDY…
She was AWESOME! I was running a few minutes late, i called to notify her and she gladly accomodated… Great haircut. My asian hair is fine and thin and the style/​cut is straight forward she really did a great job. I am very picky about my hair, have been to alot of places here in town but she is the best (esp. for the price $ 12 for mens haircut).
Make sure to call ahead for an appointment and BRING CASH (or you’ll have to go to the ATM at Carl’s Jr.).
Great experience b/​c she is very professional, thorough and on time too!
I will definitely be back and have now «FOUND» my new stylist.

Heard this is the place to go – walk up and sign says they close at 6:00 — it’s 5:24 — I have short hair it will take 15 min tops — I walk in some guy is cutting some other guys hair — some sleepyhead, malnourished looking chick sitting on her butt says «sorry we are closed» — I say «the sign says closed at 6» — she says «oh we close early on Mondays» — Hey sleepy … You think you can put letters and numbers together on a piece of paper and post it? — I wouldn’t want her to touch my head with a pair of scissors anyway

Wendy is the best. I’ve been a happy customer of hers for at least 15 years. I go where she goes. She takes the time to get to know you and how your hair works. She is awesome with kids and takes care of my whole family.
My oldest is 14, and she was his first haircut. She pays attention to popular styles, makes great recommendations, but ultimately let’s you decide how you want your hair. Love love love her!

Don’t judge the book by its cover! It is not about the appearance but the expertise of the Hairstylist who are working in this Salon. All are good and professional. They can handle any hair problem both Men, Women and Children. Very affordable price… Look for Wendy, Annie, Jackie, Henry, Chiva, Carol and Jasmine… for sure you’ll gonna love the new you after the service!!!

I’ve had so many bad experiences with other hair dressers not giving me what hair style or cut I want until I went here. After reading the good reviews on Wendy, I had to give her a chance. I asked for layers but with not much trimmed off and bangs. She made me feel comfortable asking me what she’s going to do and if I was satisfied. She makes sure you leave feeling great about your hair!!!

I’m not reviewing the salon but the hair stylist that works here. Wendy has been cutting my kid’s hair since they were babies and all are now in their 20s. She has also cut mine (when I’m not lazy to drive out to see her). Wendy is by far «THE BEST HAIRSTYLIST» around! Nothing fancy but her cuts are ALWAYS on point! She does NOTHING but cuts! I’ve had my hair layered and cut by all the fancy places (stylist) that charges $ 50-​$ 100 for their haircuts and Wendy’s $ 8 dollar haircuts blows them sideways ($ 12– $ 15 now). If your on a budget and need a good haircut and you can wash and style your own hair, You HAVE to check out Wendy!

I’ve been going to Wendy, my stylist for over a decade. She does damn good with my hair. From time to time, she will show me new stuff to put into it. I’m pretty damn picky about who touches my hair and have had battles in barber chairs with others about off angled cuts, rounded in the back and not square, etc. The point is that you shouldn’t battle your stylist while in the chair and if you do/​are, it’s already a losing war. They should be creative and listen. If all you want is a copy cat cut, not from a celebrity, but that that’s all the stylist knows, then good luck. There’s a reason I used to drive back and forth from San Diego to get a good cut.
