(If you don’t need feel like reading such a long review, read the last sentence for overall review) I really grew to love this park ever since I moved to the Mesa Grande neighborhood 6 years ago. I enjoy it for a couple of reasons. First off, I love how accessible it is for me; I can bike there in less than 5 minutes or walk in about 10 minutes. I love how I can take my dogs for a quick walk without having them get tired before they actually reach the park. Plus it has a couple of trashcans located throughout the park making it easier to have a picnic and throw the trash away or not having to carry my dog’s business around, I can easily dispose of it. I love how the park has two sort of seperate playgrounds, one seems to be for older children and the other for smaller children. Plus it has a small seating area between the two playgrounds so parents can sit and watch their kids play. In additiin, there is a few tables, grills and water fountains availble for a comfortable visit to the park. There is also benches located around the walking/jogging path and there is two exercise areas located on the park and a field that is often occupied by a few soccer players. Although the park is very acomadating, there is two reasons why I don’t give it 5 stars. One it is very small which is reasonable for it being a park for a rather small neighborhood. In addition, although pets are allowed it doesn’t have one of those water fountains that has a lower level to give your pets some water. Which is a bit annoying for when you are staying at the park for longer periods and your pet wants/needs water. I hear we may be getting one soon so I will gladly change my review to 5 stars. I wish I could rate it 4 ½ for now. Overall, great park for family and pets and easily accessible.
