It took awhile to get my children’s respite service. The first caregiver was nice, but was barely out of high school and played with her phone the majority of the time.
The second care giver was great for my 5 and 7 year old, but didn’t have infant experience for my youngest like they promised, however, she was perfect for the older kids. Also, they changed my rate from $ 5 an hour to add another child to $ 22 since they decided they needed to add another caregiver.
Overall, three stars.

This agency is disorganized. There is a lack of communication between staffing in the hiring process, and you end up having to bring in the same documentation over and over. They are not good about returning calls or emails. If you want something done or a question answered, I would advise calling (and/​or emailing) repeatedly. Don’t wait around to hear a response.
The Hiring Coordinator, Jacqueline Velasquez, is very incompetent and lacks confidence in her job. I’m not sure if she was hired as a favor to someone who works there or what. Jacqueline is the person that has you fill out the W-​4 forms and I-​9 and she either doesn’t know the answers to your questions or provides you incorrect information. Luckily, I have held jobs prior to this one, so I know the appropriate ways to fill out these forms in regards to state/​federal withholding taxes. It’s odd. How are you a Hiring Coordinator and have no clue in how to answer a simple question in the paperwork process that you are responsible in having candidates complete and sign? Does this company screen their office employees?
If you have no other alternatives as far as healthcare job in Sacramento, then go for Maxim. But, they wouldn’t be my first choice.

I have a infant daughter that requires close nursing care. In the past 4 months in which half the time she’s been in the hospital. I’ve gone through 3 nurses now. They all suck. At what the company calls «meet and greets» I have asked nurses specifically, if they have qualifying experience with children with my daughters needs. They’ve all said yes until the first day they start. Then all of a sudden they know nothing. All of a sudden it’s someone Else’s fault, they were not notified, LIE I asked myself! I have asked these nurses to fulfill certain duties to show me they know. So I can feel safe leaving my infant in their care. They all failed. I am currently in the process of leaving this nursing company for decent care for my daughter. I do better at doing it myself, however I do need help since I have several other older children. in which they do better job helping me then these so called «nurses». Sad to say that my teen sees everything these people do wrong! When my infant has re certifications the staff bad mouth the company in front of me! I am so so disappointed in this company. I can’t even stand having them in my home any longer. If I had to rate this company I wouldn’t even give them a half of a star!!! The communication between staff sucks, the nurses skills suck, they don’t even drug test their nursing staff leading to a drug addicted nurse showing up at my house and couldn’t even tell me where she last worked! UUmmm NO THANK YOU!!!

I posted my resume on line, and a male employee called me, when I said that I didn’t want to work for an agency, he persisted anyway, and was pushy and irritable.
Then he offered me $ 18.00/hr as an RN, good luck with that one!

If you are a Nurse, thinking about perhaps working for this Agency, you may wish to fully investigate, before signing up.
The Leadership for Nursing is severely lacking, which in turn reflects on the quality of Nurses providing care.
The office Milieu is reminiscent of a highly disorganized, three ring circus.
There are mixed messages galore, so if you do end up employed at this office, be sure to get everything in writing.
If there was a Minus 5 Star to give, this Agency would receive it.

If you have a child that needs nursing this is not the place to find it! The people who run the office including nursing staff have no idea what is going on from day to day.
Everything that I could possibly say is all negative.
Good luck! I hope you never have a sick child but if you do please find another agency!
