Kate Sullivan, CMT

Kate is truly an amazing masseuse. I’ve come to her before for both relaxation massages as well as pain therapy (carpal tunnel).
Relaxation massage: A+. One hour of pure bliss! I left looking and feeling like a completely new person– my face was quite literally glowing. Its amazing what a great massage can do for your well being and even emotional health.
Pain therapy: A+. She helped eliminate some severe carpal tunnel pinching in my right wrist after just one (intense!) session. Note: fixing musculato-​skeletal/​connective tissue issues will involve some rather intense separation of fascia through deep pressure. It was painful, but manageable. And it WORKED.
Highly recommended!

Ahhh… is the word for Kate Sullivan and her magic arms, wrists and hands. She has a totally wonderful approach to massage… as a former engineer (when is an engineer ever a former engineer?) she looks at her client with an eye for the big picture. After all, what’s the name of the business? Anatomy of massage.
When the massage starts, she always says, «it’s your massage,» meaning that the client can direct, within reason, what comes next. When she started my first massage… and I have had many… I felt her hands on my body — and never felt them leave my body until the end of the massage. It is as though there is one continuous flow of movement over the entire body — face down or face up!
Kate’s abilities extend to several modalities of massage. There are times when you don’t even realize she has started one and ended another.
What am I trying to say? Kate Sullivan should be on everyone’s go-​to list. If you are thinking of a massage, go to Kate. If you’ve never had a massage, go to Kate. If your body is crying for attention, go to Kate. Listen to your body. Go to Kate.
