It is a very dirty looking place and maybe it might be a brothel as well. Please read more. My husband and I decided to support this mom and pop shop since we live close to it and we like to keep them in business(if they are good). We went for dinner however people were still eating lunch combos. After we were seated and ordered our food, my husband noticed that the waitress and the cook were making out in the back near the bathroom. All I heard was a bunch of smooching and lipsmacking noises. I didn’t believe him until I turned around and saw dancing swans flapping their wings as they caressed each other. I felt sick to my stomach and requested that we leave. However, my husband was a little nicer than I was and decided to stay and eat the food since we had already ordered. After a couple of minutes of chewing the food, my head started to feel really heavy(a sign of tons of msg in the food). I started to feel dizzy and could no longer eat in large due to the waitress/cook affair in the back of this hole. I’m wondering if it is a health violation to feel on each other and then go back to cooking and serving your customers? I will be calling the owner!

Just go. Food is great and there is a bar if needed. Order veggies over rice.

The only Chinese restaurant I know around the area. It is cheap and tasty. The best thing on their menu is the Singaporean fried noodles. The long beans and beef is also good. Other stuff is not good though. I tried their curry, which wasn’t like curry at all. Wonton was not good either.

Jade Garden is not a place for the fancy. If what you want is a fine, hearty lunch that sticks to your ribs and satisfies the tastebuds, this is the spot. It doesn’t tantalize, it doesn’t surprise, and it doesn’t stretch your wallet – they just serve a good lunch. Today I had the Beef with Snow Peas. The egg drop soup was mild but tasty. The vegetables had just the right amount of snap, and while the beef wasn’t super flavorful it didn’t taste soaked in MSG either. The fried rice was just sticky enough for easy chopstick manipulation, and the chow mein noodles were hearty and nicely textured. The pork won ton was just right. Lunch cost $ 5.25 plus tax, and I’m still full five hours later. Jade Garden is very American, very retro, and very unassuming. It probably hasn’t been remodeled in 40 years, which I consider a definite plus. Visiting the restroom is kind of a fun adventure, as it is located through the back in the neighboring Chambers Room, one of Sacramento’s few remaining genuine dive bars. The staff are quick and friendly.

I was taken to this place by a local chinese person. It’s not a place i would normally go since it looks from the outside as though it caters to americanized palets. it doesn’t have a chinese placard, looks to be a hole in the wall, and its sort of grungy looking in a not so great part of the town. but the foot is DAMN good. we ordered the special for 15 bucks, which comes with a huge bowl of soup made with dried seaweed and eggs, with some sesame oil and green onion sprinkled on top. it also came with half a fried chicken and a small bowl of salt/pepper to dip in Green beans and pork and some dried vegetables huge bowl of beef pot that has chinese mushrooms, fried tofu and various other vegetables gailan(chinese brocoli) with hoisin sauce on top and all the rice you can eat you just can’t beat the price! and the taste is pretty damn good too, the owners will let you swap things out of the special with a couple bucks extra. I took off a star for being a bit dirty.
