So on Tuesday, 6÷14÷16, I was in Rancho Cordova attending a class for a new job I started. After I was hungry and VERYTIRED. LIKEDELERIOUSTIRED. Was scared to drive in traffic might fall asleep. I was looking for a McD’s but I got twisted around on Arden so i looked around and remembered I was near hooters so I just stopped. I never been treated bad here, service is always good. Anyway I just wanted to sit down. I wasn’t expecting Angelica. She was very professional and showed genuine concern about my well being. Customer service is hard for ANYONE. Yeah they get tips and do what they have to but Angelica sincerely made me feel welcomed. She wasn’t overly nice, she knew the menu, talked and then let me speak, asked questions, made suggestions, didn’t come back to my table to much, looked at me directly in my eyes and most important she seemed sincere. There all great there. Always. However only 3, now 4, really stood out as truly above and beyond in the MANY times I visited in the past 12 years. No offense to everyone at Hooters… she must have thought I was a dumb ass the way I was acting I was so beat… normally I would rate 3 stars, well, because the menu is just decent. When you get more mature a good steak is more important than Owl’s. Today it’s five stars. Customer service is hard and if Angelica was faking it… Thank you! Great job. You made me feel very, very welcomed. I think I remember Angelica said she was new. Good luck. Great hire Hooters. I hope she works out. Hey man, is there a steak on your menu? Beef that sicker up. Maybe even a decent, NONGREASY, burrito! No taco truck s**t though.

If I could give this place negative stars, I’d be more than happy to. The service is horrible and the waitresses are complete idiots and are absolutely incompetent when it comes to taking our food and drink orders. If you don’t mind receiving your pitcher of beer an hour into your meal, by all means, I hope you enjoy. If you want to have to refill your own drinks, then please, be my guest and head on over for a crappy time. It’s just a waste of time to go here. Trust all the negative reviews and save yourself the time and headache. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Everyplace gets busy. I understand that. But when I call in an order and you tell me it will be done in 15 minutes, I will be there in 15 minutes. Except this time my order wasn’t done, it wasn’t even started. It took 45 minutes to do an order of 20 boneless wings. Now if the place was packed and you told me it was going to take a while we wouldn’t have a problem. But with more than 50% of the seating left open there’s really no excuse. Set the right expectation over the phone if you want to improve.

Worst Hooters experience ever. Waited over an hour for our order come out wrong not once but twice; and it was simple wings. The third time our«mild» wings came out with no sauce sitting in a pile of grease. We did not eat it. The manager took off 20% so we basically paid $ 50 for French fries, 3 soft drinks and 1 beer. Stopped at Wing Stop on way home. This location needs to step it up or close!

Great experience for Wings Wednesday this time! We were starting to be on the fence about coming here but glad we came to try again. Seems like a whole new crew and everyone is working well together. Our food was fast and the great attitude of these ladies is contagious! Thanks the great visit and we definitely WILL be coming back.

Worst experience ever, won’t be coming here again. Waited 2 hours for all you can eat wings and all I we got was 14 wings in total. Waitress didn’t come to check on us most of the time and to top that we didn’t get our drink in like an hour and had to ask a different waitress for it. It was a waste of our time and money. I’m usually really understanding but this was just unacceptable.

This hooters has been HORRIBLE for the last year! Waiting for our food for an two and a half hours and when we got our food the chicken was dry and cold the worse part was they served my grand baby last. TONIGHT it was amazing!!! The service was fast the chicken was tender and juicy I can’t say enough about how much they have improved. They have a new manager and he sure has made a fanominal differance! I will definitely be coming back. give this place a second chance you won’t be disappointed.

Great burgers, great staff, great atmosphere! I’ve always liked the burgers here, and with a new, revamped menu, I’m finding new items to enjoy! A new favorite of mine is the grilled chicken with a blend of Triple Dog Dare and Chipotle Honey sauce. Definite kudos to the kitchen staff! The staff and management are all great, but Caroline and Jammi really stand out. One of the biggest determining factors in whether I’m going to return to a business is if the staff makes me feel like they actually enjoy having me there, and these two ALWAYS leave me feeling like that. The atmosphere is generally laid back and relaxed, letting you feel like you can take as long to enjoy your meal as you like. Even on nights when they gave a UFC fight showing, I’ve never felt rushed.

I have been to this location twice now with my coworkers and both times the service has been awful. It’s just so slow and they weren’t even busy both times we went. Took over 30 minutes for a burger. I won’t be wasting my time here anymore.

I’ll give 1 star for the delicious flavor of the food, wings were very smalll portions though. The 10 piece boneless was NOT worth $ 13. The service SUCKED, slow as hell… took 45 minutes to get those small portions with no celery available & maybe 20 tables with patrons… slow night. Our server was named Mia… she stood at the counter where they get the orders from and played with her hair the whole time, we even had to get up & go get her to get us more drinks. When she rang us up, she was still playing with her hair, doesn’t she realize she works on a restaurant?? Gross… Sorry not the type HOOTER fun we were looking for… won’t be back… please put a hair net on Mia.

Mia was the slowest server I have ever had in my life. Not only did she make me regret going there on my birthday! She seemed to be more interested in the smaller tables and getting them what they needed and we were there first! We had to ask for utensils 3 times and napkins. Finally my friend got up and stole some from another table. When it came to check out time Mia had the same superpower as a Home Depot manager(no where to be found) I had to track down another waitress for assistance! This will be the last birthday I spend here!

Ehhh. The food wasn’t very good. The beer was okay: maybe it’s just a matter of Corona on tap, but even with purchasing a tall mug, it seemed like 3.2 beer. Yanno, near-beer? My server was okay — a very nice young woman, but a little on the chunky side. No big deal. In comparison, though, she was a real beauty compared to the skinny skanks that were working there: loud, sharp-mouthed girls that looked like they were wearing training bras stuffed with a bit of Kleenex. Hooters, pre-pubescence grade. Pass.

Yeah, this place is defintely a two stars. They messed up our orders and the food came out lukewarm/cold. Sad thing is, we were the only customers there. We ordered the combination plate and it looked nothing like advertised. The meat was tiny and it looked like they just took a few clumps of chicken and poured sauce over it. The wings weren’t very hot either despite it advertised as hot and some of the chicken was just salty with no flavor. The fries were okay; you can’t really mess up fries. Our waitress was overall good but I just can’t get over how less than mediocre the food was. Guess I’m not a fan.

We are here yesterday and had a great experience. Our server was so nice and friendly. She was efficient and made sure we were taken care of. The food was really good too! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in sac.

My friends and I went to Hooters a couple weeks ago for their unlimited wings special. Things started off pretty well as we told we could sit at any table. The six of us got seated quickly and were asked what we wanted to eat. And that was about the limit of our good service. We knew that we had a larger party and that the food would probably take a little longer to come out for us, so that was understandable… but the food actually took quite a long time to get to us(approximately 25 – 30 minutes for our first order). A few of us ordered sodas, but when we had finished them the waitress was nowhere to be seen for a refill. And when she did finally come, she missed one of us and he didn’t get a refill at all. One of my friends had to get up out of the table and go over to the soda station for someone to help him out with a refill. Our second order of unlimited wings was taken as a group and again it was another twenty five to thirty minutes before the wings got to us. The wings were tasty but at that time we were getting full from just sitting around. Most of us decided not to order again because we just didn’t want to spend the time sitting around again… except for one. He made an order in the middle of his second serving so that hopefully they could be done sooner. But his third order of wings didn’t arrive for over thirty minutes. We had to ask about them before someone brought them over. At this point we asked to see a manager regarding the slow service. The manager gave us some reasoning on why the service was slow and %15 percent off our food. She also let the friend who ordered a third wing serving to bring them back with him. I guess those were nice gestures, but it didn’t quite equate to our less than stellar experience at this location. We told ourselves that we would not be returning here again based on the service we received. On a side note… one person in our party speculated that our service wasn’t good because we had a large party and gratuity would automatically be added on. That could be true… I’m not sure. But overall our experience was not good and sadly what could have been a great guys night out was a bit of a disappointment.

We got the appetizer platter. The wings and boneless wings were great. They were crispy. I love dipping them in ranch. The shrimp was weird. They were breaded and had a sauce, but they were a bit on the gooey side. I like the celery sticks to cut the grease. Next we ordered the potato skins. They were disgusting. They looked nothing like the picture. They were supposed to be drizzled with sauce. I would have been happy with plain melted cheese instead they were filled with this gross mixture. Will not order those again. This is supposed to be a sports bar. We came here to watch the basketball game. Someone had moved the list so we had to know the channel or the waitress had to flip channels. She finally found it after some flipping. The TVs aren’t user friendly, even when the waitress found the box it didn’t easily connect to the remote. That was really tricky and time consuming. Volume was the next challenge. They can pipe the tv through the restaurant, but they didn’t know which tv was connected to the system to make sure that you were listening to what you were watching. They put it on but we got football sound and we were watching baseball. Not the same even to a novice. We were lucky and found the 1 tv that had sound and we moved to that table and were able to turn it up to block out the football game. I think I’ll go somewhere else next time I want to watch a game. This process was extremely frustrating to all and I if I weren’t so persistent my baseball loving guy would have walked out. I’m glad we got it to work, but it’s not easy.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the only noteworthy thing about your restaurant is how tight the waitresses wear their clothes. I like hooters and booties as much as the next guy, but going to a chain where the girls obviously hate being forced to strut around in too-small tank tops and wedgie pants doesn’t exactly float my boat. Put the desperate eye-candy gimmick aside and everything else just plain sucks. A group of buddies and I came down as a joke for a birthday. First my beer never came. Then we ordered wings and sliders and waited a good half hour before having to remind them we were without food. The wings were soft and bready, the slider bread stale, the sauces gross. Our onion rings were way undercooked and had to be sent back. I also thought it in bad taste that the«3-mile island» sauce, named after a tragedy, was listed right below the«911» sauce. The«911» sauce likely refers to the emergency digits, but it’s a careless oversight either way. The only plus? The girls who served us and should hate both their jobs and men in general were very nice and apologetic. I’d never been to a Hooters before. I see after this visit there was absolutely nothing I was missing.

My last couple of trips here have not been Hooterific. Today, we went with a group of eight for lunch and it took over an hour to get the food. The server girl was nice enough and kept apologizing, but at a certain point, everyone just wanted to eat! According to her, one cook was new and didn’t know what he was doing and I guess one didn’t show up. She praised our patience and said that the group that came in after us had already left due to the delay. Eventually seven of us did get to eat(the eighth never got his chicken sandwich, so low in both spirit and blood sugar, he resorted to pecking at our table scraps). Man, the food was abysmal! The triple play — guac, salsa, queso — was sad. Everything had obviously come from a can. I could swear that the queso was just Tostitos queso heated up(if not, it was some generic Tostitos-like substitute). It’s honestly not difficult to throw Velveeta and Rotel together to get a much better result. I tried the fish tacos. Store-bought tortillas were expected, but the fish had too much extra skin and weirdness. They poured a sea of aioli over my tacos that had to be scraped away in a wave of despair. The fried shrimp were so greasy and intense that I felt like I might hallucinate if I ate more than a few. If I were looking for something positive to say about the food, I guess I could point to the completely adequate cups of ranch dressing. It seems that while they’ve done nothing to improve the quality of their food, they have expanded their sauce selection — 17 to choose from, including a new ultra-hot one(‘Double Dare You’, or something to that effect) but even my competitive spirit won’t get my back through the doors here. To be fair, they heavily discounted our bill and it wasn’t the server’s fault. Also, weekday lunch is not prime-time, so I’d recommend going on a Saturday. But this is the 2nd bad experience I’ve had at this location. It’s partly due to the mediocre bar food, but partly due to what seems like are staffing or management issues. I don’t think anyone expects an incredible culinary experience here, but there’s only so far that modern man is willing to go to see a waitress in those tacky orange shorts. Plus, I didn’t see a single owl the whole time I was there.
