Gamestop

Their employees are pretty helpful. My roommate bought an Xbox One bundle here for around ~$ 400, traded in games with no problem, and bought games as well. As far as Gamestop stores go, this one’s pretty good on customer service. I wish they had more PS3 games, but I can always order online.

I’m so pumped to visit this store as they sell a lot of brand new and pre-​owned video games. I just bought an Xbox 360 and we decided not to get the Kinect sensor at Best buy since it costs $ 99. We called the store and they are out of stock but they have refurbished Kinect Sensor for only $ 25 which was originally priced at $ 70. Good as new! Saving $ 74 is a TOTAL SCORE!
The store is clean and organized. They have a small corner with different game consoles to try on.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We mentioned that we are first time buyers and I love how energetic and convincing they are in telling what a great experience they had in video games.
They have a lot of mini figures too.
Overall it was a nice experience and we will probably go back here for video games.

Working in retail myself, I just want to say that every associate, as with the manager (who’s name im forgetting), the customer service is excellent. This is the only GameStop I’ll go to for that reason alone.
I never really feel the need to leave reviews about places, but this is an exception. Excellent employees, keep it up guys

Put a game on hold online and when I went into the shop, the customer service was great. I was greeted as I walked in and the employee searched and found my missing on hold game really quickly. Great products, great service, and bonus points for having a slightly harder to find game. :) Would def recommend.

I came here to buy an Xbox controller for my laptop. I got it for $ 24 I think. The lady was nice and cool. I hardly play with it because I lack gaming graphics. I am sad. Gaming noob.

Love love love this store!!! I go into this store about once a week and the customer service is always awesome. They are super helpful, always fair with trade-​ins, and never make me feel guilty about it lol. They are extremely informative, seem as excited as I am about some of the games, and whenever i come in to buy something for myself, my bf, or my kids, whichever employee is there, listens, asks questions, and makes very helpful suggestions. I would DEFINITELY recommend this store to anyone.

This Game Stop is OK, but I do have a gripe. Some of the sales dudes are a little pushy. The membership they try to sell everyone is a rip off (These guys get a cut so they REALLY push it). Basically you pay $ 15 which allows you to buy 2 games, and get the 3^rd for «free». But you’re already paying that initial $ 15 for the «membership» it’s just marketing, to get more money from suckers, I mean customers. And when you sign up and go through the email process, you fill out a WORLD of information, it’s all demographics.
You want a good deal on games? Hit Craigslist or trade with a buddy. I hate to slam anywhere with 1-​star, but I felt dirty and used after leaving this place.
Every time I go in here I see little kids handing over all their allowance to BS memberships and overpriced games and controllers. LAME.
Only go here if you like giving away money you worked hard for.

The staff at this Game Stop is always super nice and helpful. The store is kept really clean and organized so it’s easy to find what I am looking for. We have traded in games and systems at this location and it’s always been quick and painless. There is another Game Stop a bit closer to me but I always come to this one.

If you are looking for games or just looking to play a few to waste time this is the gamestop to go to. They have great customer service and never too busy. The games are always open and free to play. Never experienced having to wait or watch others play for hours while in the store as I’ve seen at some others. If you’re in a hurry and just looking to buy a game and run out, you can accomplish that at this Gamestop.

I called in their today to ask them what games they have for the PS3 move and the rep told me too many to name and I completely understood. I went in on my lunch break to check it out, however it seemed that the ones with blue in the top right corner are for the move and the price tags are covering all of them. I asked for help and the employee was rude wouldnt help me just basically said you should still see a little piece of blue! All I wanted was for him to show me since there isn’t very many games for Move anyway and although it wasn’t busy at all he would’nt guess i’ll just go to the one in Citrus Heights where the are always helpful.

This is a smaller store, but still has a decent selection. I like to come here close to the holidays to pick out gifts for the cousins. The staff is always super friendly and helpful! Great little store in the Arden area.

Gamestop is what it is. If you like video games, you’ll end up here sooner or later. We have a 14 year-​old son… so. I wish the used game prices dropped a bit quicker, but I suppose the market dictates. The guys that work this location are usually pretty friendly and I like it better than the K St site.

Without going into huge detail, I pre-​ordered a game, the store did not have beta codes and had no idea what I was talking about (as part of the promotion with that particular pre-​order) they informed me when they got details they would let me know. A few days later, I called to find out if they knew anything, the manager told me they had beta codes on the way, he’d call or email me when they came in. A week later, nothing, so I called and an associate tells me they got in the codes and gave them all out. I was mad.
As someone who pre-​ordered the morning of the release and was literally one of the first people to do so (showed up at store opening the day of the release), I was more than slightly upset that they completely fumbled the ball, and then basically just said well sorry we’ll email the company.
In spite of the fact that I work next door, I will not ever return to this GameStop, which is shame too because they are so convenient and I do spend a lot of money there.

i love me some video games!
a game stop is pretty basic. you walk in knowing the prices and what they generally have to offer. but i came in around 815 on random impulse deciding i wanted to splurge and buy some kind of rock band/​guitar hero device.
the staff was extremely helpful and chatted it up with me to help me find exactly what i wanted. and when they didnt have it, they called the other game stop and had them hold it for me while i drove over there. they even kept the store open for me a few minutes after while i went on a video game spending rampage.
love it.

Took my 7yo daughter to the mall. We came up to this place and she immediately wanted to go in. We looked around and I saw Mario Kart for the Wii. I had been looking for this game for months. I asked to see a copy of the game, so I could see what else I may need to play this game. These guys told me that I didn’t need the steering wheel, and didn’t need the nun chucks (sp?). I went ahead and bought, not knowing what the big W was priced at. Ended up being the same price for better service than walmart. We’ll be back.
