I love this place! I’ve been going here since they’ve opened(about 7 years ago) but haven’t had time lately to drive down to South Sac. My cousins and I were in search of a foot massage and called around 6 different places near my home but all of them were booked up or jacked up their prices by $ 10 – 15. I decided to call FMC even though it was already 6pm and I really didn’t want to drive all the way out there. I was able to get an appointment for 3 people at 6:30pm. I was amazed that we were able to get an appointment that fast. When we arrived we were greeted and our seats were ready for us. Even though it’s a «foot massage» they massage your head and extremities too. The staff is very friendly and the linens smelled and looked very clean. This last visit was the best foot massage I’ve ever received that I tipped my masseuse $ 10 for the $ 20 hour long massage.

$ 201 hr foot massage + $ 5 tip = $ 25 total for a decent foot massage. This place does a decent job for a foot massage. They do more of a full-body, starting with hot foot soak, face, head, neck and shoulders, and then leg and feet and back. Owned by an Asian couple, my friend had to translate Mandarin to tell them that we wanted it lighter. However, we both thought that they went slightly too light. I still felt like the experience was relaxing and my body felt better afterwards(not too sore). I didn’t like how we weren’t in a room separate from the entrance, it made it annoying when the curtains opened and light shone in. They also had the tv on, and screams from chinese drama detracted from the relaxing experience. For a small massage club, the massage was ok. I think I prefer the environment of Happy Day Spa, but this one is a lot smaller and more intimate and the massage was slightly better.

I’m definitely not a fan! My aunt wanted a foot massage and been raving about this place. She likes her masseuse to beat her a$s. I just thoughts, ‘why not? ’ I figure I can just tell my masseuse not to beat me up and I’ll be fine… That did not go well, first of all they barely speak English. That’s okay my mommy speaks Mandarin she can translate. Told my masseuse I wanted a softer massage and what did she do? Bitxh tried to kill me. I kid you not, I said, «Ouch» at least 3 times told her to go softer and yet she beat me like dirty mat! It starts out with your foot in hot herbal water which she tried to burn my toes off. Ask her to make my water cooler she looked annoyed. I’m annoyed too I would like to keep my toes lady! Outta the whole group with my friends & I. I’m known to like hot water during pedicures and I can take the most pain. But wow, this place makes me feel like a bit#h. That chick is strong for a little woman, might be a man before idk. But come on now if you want good tip then give your customers what they want! It was an hour of me bitching and her apologizing. So stupid I’m simple, I just don’t want to pay you to beat my a$s. No, I would not go back not anytime soon but in a year or two I might when I think the ninja doesn’t work there anymore, then I’ll give them a second chance. Until then I’m staying far far away from these ninja.

My wife and I go to this place every week to every other week due to their awesome foot massage. There’s only 8 massage chairs and several rooms for full body massages. Gem is the one that takes care of me while my wife has 2 favorites, either way one or the other is always there. Remember this is a different kind of massage that you get from Happy Day Spa. They are reflexology experts!!! These guys go hard and they do it so well that I seem to find myself falling asleep to even snoring hahaha. My wife and I drive all the way from Natomas to have our massage done and these guys are well worth the drive.

I have mixed feelings about this place, yes the price is unbeatable but the quality of the massage. is questionable. I don’t know if they hate me but OMG any harder and I swear my ribs would break and the bottom of my foot will start to BLEED! My partner said his massage was fine but the man that did mine was just too rough on me. I would suggest people that haven’t tried this place to voice your preference or suffer in silence.

If you want authentic Chinese Acupressure massage you’ve come to the right place. Foot Massage Club doesn’t mess around, they know their meridians and acupressure/acupuncture points.(At Happy Day Spa, only two of their masseuses know the meridians and acupressure points, by the way – Julia and David are amazing). Here’s the skinny: If you have a bad headache, ask for James for the chair massage, his specialty. Headache will be better within 30 minutes; gone in one hour. If you want an excellent foot massage and you like deep pressure, ask for David. He’s incredible. If you want to take a nap while receiving a relaxing light acupressure massage, ask for Mary. If you’ve got chronic pain issues(neck, back, sciatica, etc) get a body massage and ask for Catherine. She’s the owner, and she does excellent cupping work, as well as scraping(Gua Sha). You’ll have to ask for cupping though – it leaves cupping marks so they typically will offer it to clients who understand what cupping is. They charge the same price for the massage with or without cupping or scraping, which is pretty awesome.

It’s a good deal and they do a great massage and acupressure. However, the stopping to talk to everyone that walks in and chatting with each other was distracting.

Perfect massage on a budget! 60 mins for $ 19.99… If you don’t like deep/pressure massage, this is not for you. The reasons I’m not giving 5 stars are: 1) Staffs talk too much to each other 2) Staffs answers the phones or greet walk-ins in the middle of my massage. Overall, the massage is great & they are friendly.

Oh! $ 20 acupressure massage… you’re my best friend! The people who run Foot Massage Club are super polite and respectful. Yes, they speak very little English but pretty much all you need to say is «1 hour 20 dollar foot massage.» I’ll admit, it looks a bit shady from the outside, but the inside is clean and nice. When you walk in there is dim lit room and possibly other people getting massages. It’s not a very personal place, but it doesn’t need to be because you leave your clothes on and everything. I always get awesome massages and leave with clean, knot-free feet and body. Keep in mind, it isn’t a full body massage, they spend about 20 mins on your feet and the rest on acupressure on your body(which is amaazzzinggg). Also, this would seem obvious, but if you don’t like being touched, I wouldn’t recommend this place, they twist your body around and jam elbows in your back, which can be uncomfortable for some, but this is why I come here =D Just the right kind of torture. If you tell them you’re sensitive in some areas they’ll lighten up. I just say this because I brought a friend here who told me later she was uncomfortable when they rubbed a knot out on the side of her butt. I explained that massage is all about inappropriate touching… She wasn’t amused. haha. Anyway, I totally recommend Foot Massage club, especially if you’re stressed and on a budget!

Awesome massage for a nearly sweatshop rate. I think I remember they were Taiwanese and speak very little if no English. You will be ushered into a dark room with leather chairs, but interrupted by any customers that come in, because the host will stop to make sure the customer will stay. At $ 19.99 a pop, they probably should make sure every customer that comes in stays and pays. I won’t give away the little delicious details of this hour long treatment. It will involve a hot pail of water, robotically good hands and a surprise ending that will leave you satisfied. All for very little money. The girl that I was with at the time who treated us to these massages gave each of our masseuses a $ 10 tip on top of price, and so for $ 30, you’re still paying a sweatshop rate for a very good massage. This place doesn’t seem busy enough to warrant an appointment. Just walk in, they’ll help you.

My cousin told me about this place and hey, for $ 19.99 for a foot massage, why not give it a try. We were a little skeptical at first, because it’s in a little strip mall(near A&A market) and not the best area, but we did drive there to check it out and besides, my 85 year old aunt come here every week. Once you walk through the door, we were greeted by the receptionist and a dark room with room dividers or screens. Our intention was to get to the foot massage, but when I saw the 30 minute chair massage for $ 19.99. We decided to try that instead especially since my husband was not sure about the foot massage. The receptionist/massage therapist(Lily) worked on me and an older gentleman(James) worked on my husband. I love massages, any kind except for the wimpy feathery kind. I like a little pain because I have plenty of knots. We told them our problem areas and they tend to focus more on those areas. These are not traditional massage, the technique is more acupressure which is a little different than the traditional massage. The massage was good and for the price, I couldn’t complain. Yes, they do not speak English very well, but you’ll get by. They speak mandarin and we think they’re Taiwanese. They didn’t speak too much with each other only a few verses, they didn’t talk to you much either, only in the beginning for a minutes or so. Which is really good. Just focus on my massage please. We were there after 5 pm on a Saturday and the front room was empty but they assured us that it gets busy so best make an appt. Our chair massage was in the aisle between the chairs for the foot massage in the front room… lucky for us… it was empty. There were eight chairs and I believe about six or seven individuals rooms in the back for the body massage which is only $ 35.99 for an hours. I would definitely go back and try their foot massage because it includes a back massage.

Update: The last couple of times I’ve been here its been not-so-great. Yesterday the masseuse interrupted the massage to talk to a walk-in customer and arrange for an app’t for the following day; later he stopped to answer the phone. Didn’t get the best massage, either… I’m back to Happy Day Spa next time for several reasons. Small storefront in a strip mall, but a really good massage. The staff tend to talk to each other too much and seem distracted, but this is one of my favorite of the foot massage joints on Stockton Blvd– I feel like I’ve had a workout after the 1 hour $ 20 foot/body massage…
