Express Event Imaging

The name may say Express, but rest assured you’ll get personalized service from a seasoned photographer when using Express Event Imaging.
I’ve experienced Curtis’ handiwork on a number of occasions now, from a hectic party hosted by yours truly to more casual mixers. I love that he has a large backdrop or «green screen» that allows him to project images onto the backdrop of the photo. It’s ideal for company parties or big gatherings where people want a logo included in the photo. It’s also a much larger space than your average photo booth so silly posing and bringing in other props like chairs is more ideal.
Better yet, he has an option to print out your photo instantaneously or to download a high quality version through his website. I would hire Curtis for any occasion again in a heartbeat.

We attended « Unilocal’s Ghoulish Groove Elite Event,» and we had our souvenir photos taken by Express Imaging.
All of the Unilocal Elites were dressed in their costumes and had a photo opportunity with Curtis, the photographer.
This was a party given by Unilocal and the photos were free. I am really grateful for that, it’s a really sweet memento of the fun we had that night. I was inspired to write this review after I read Ida H.‘s review.
I’m assuming that the photographer was a bit overwhelmed at the number of photographs he had to take. When we came back for a second picture, he was a bit on the crabby side. I think he was annoyed we wanted another picture. Sheesh! See what happens when you have to please a bunch of Unilocalers! We went to take a second picture because we wanted a different backdrop or pose but we were back in the same pose but this time the picture was blurry. Dang, and I thought I needed glasses! Oh well, I have one decent picture as a souvenir and I really appreciate Unilocal for letting Unilocalers have the opportunity to give Express Event Imaging a try.
I’m sure that a Unilocal party is not what Express Event Imaging is particularly used to and it could have just been the fact that they were not as prepared for the amount of people they had to shoot.

Express Event Imaging was present for our «Ghoulish Groove Elite Unilocal Event». It was a nice treat to have a professional photographer there capturing Unilocalers in their costumes. We were each given a free 4″ X 6″ glossy as we posed in front of a colorful, yet scary back ground. Curtis Tarpley was very pleasant, but I’m sure a little over whelmed at having to take multiple pictures at a fast pace in order to keep the line of people moving. It didn’t take long for everyone to get a copy of their photo almost in a matter of 5 – 10 minutes. Everyone except my boyfriend and I. As we stood and waited for our picture, others were getting their copies. I eventually had to interrupt the photographer as to when we would be getting ours. Apparently we had been forgotten, but luckily still in the computer system.
When he found ours, I noticed that there was something weird on my boyfriend’s white beard of his wizard costume. It looked like a pinkish vomit hanging down below his mouth! In a way it was humorous, but Joe didn’t think it was very funny and was more irritated than anything. We were also given the opportunity to view the pictures on a tablet, and click on it to send to your e-​mail address. Since we couldn’t find ours on there, we gave up trying!
About a week later, Unilocal announced that we could go on a website to see everyone’s Halloween photos:
All the pictures looked great except when I found the one of ours. Well, it was even worse than our original copy. This time Joe looked almost transparent, and you could see the back ground of flying bats right through him! (He still didn’t think it was funny)!
I guess I shouldn’t complain about a free professional photo, but I didn’t want to be disappointed either!
