Wedding review 5÷31÷14 David was very nice at the beginning, when we met he was very friendly. Although he did show up 30 minutes late to the initial meeting. Through out the planning I guess I gave him to many songs and he kind of laughed at me and asked if I wanted him to just play those songs only… That wasn’t my intention I was just giving ideas. Its not like i haute a dj/have a wedding every day. Then I changed one special song, he snapped at me and made a comment that I kept changing everything. At this point I was done with him and had my aunt work with him. I ended up changing one more song a week or two before and he again was snappy and said to me and my aunt that I keep changing everything. I told my aunt that I would not deal w him on wedding day. Well guess who showed up about 45– 1 hr late to set up. David. And guess who couldn’t get his equipment to work? David. And my wedding started 45 minutes late. So we had to squeeze everything together… Which meant i didn’t get all the pictures i wanted. Davids equipment and mics didn’t work for reception either. It was embarracing. He was supposed to bring two sets of equipment but he only brought 1. And at the end of the night he came and asked me for money!!! the bride!!! When my aunt had signed the contract and he knew she had his check!!! Pros: he showed up, he never gave up. He drove far to come to our wedding. He also demands cash not check– i can only assume why. But as a consumer you have to protect yourself and i know that he was not happy that final payment was in check form. Id assume he is probably not comfortable with weddings. I think he would have liked that everything worked as plan. My uncle, a former DJ actually helped troubleshoot so we could have ceremony music and he said the issue he was having was really just a technical issue. But showing up 45 mins late for set up to any event is not cool.
