I went to one appointment with Dr. Terrado and promptly changed to another GI specialist. Her office is WAY overbooked and the doctors were unable to diagnose what was causing all my pain. After waiting in an exam room for an hour, a medical student walked in and had me give my medical history; she then walked out and reported to Terrado. When the doctor finally came in the exam room, she looked over the med student’s notes, pushed down on my stomach and told me I would need a colonoscopy. I waited for her for over an hour and a half and just like that she was done with me and off to her next patient. I was shuffled off to a line of workers who scheduled the colonoscopy in… six months. I was about to cry. The worker told me I could call every Wednesday to see if there were any cancellations but that they could not move me up. I found another GI specialist who was able to get a colonoscopy done within two weeks so I dumped Terrado for a much more attractive alternative. My main problems with Terrado are that she did not have any bedside manners(maybe I caught her on an off day) and she was way too overbooked. I would rather get an appointment later in the day instead of waiting in an office in excruciating pain.
