This place is horrible. I drove from a half hour away, with three kids in tow and I could barely get the guys attention.(assume he was the owner) He was hard at work doing his own thing, working on a R/C car and watching the game. The guy did everything but say I’m not going to help you with what you need. When I did try and to pin him down on MY issue, he let know that he wouldn’t be able to help and no he couldn’t help figure it out. Was told«your project, you do the research» It felt like I was talking to a real life version of the comic book guy from the Simpsons. The place is Tiny, it is not a hobby store and the service sucks. It is STRICTLY for hardcore R/C enthusiast On a happy note I stumbled on Hobby Town USA a few blocks away. And they were awesome. I mentioned my experance Capital City R/C Center and they said they hear that all the time

This place has so much potential but just comes up a bit short of being a truly great RC car track. Let me start with the positives, fun and challenging track design, good location. Now for the less than positive aspects, price, $ 15 is too much for a place where you have to fix and maintain the track yourself, the track should be prepped and watered by the management. I have run at several other tracks all over California and never had to sweep and water a track just to make it useable. If the owner would clean this place up a little, stock more spare parts, this place could be one of the best tracks around. I would like to add to this review of Cap City RC. This place has really turned around for the better. Excellent track design, good track prep. The owner has obviously made a strong effort to listen to his clientele and implement these much needed changes. The only suggestion I have is for the management to spend some time on the website and get it and keep it updated. Maybe run some parts specials and get rid of the rediculous rock crawling monstrosity.
