Burger King

Came in today with my loved one and we ordered 2 for 5 on Big King and Spicy Original Chicken Sandwich with Large Fries and 2 Brownie Sudaes. First impression of the place, I was impressed. It was actually cleaner then the Burger Kings down Stockton Blvd. But, the food wasn’t as satisfying as the other chains. The Big King meat patties were old. It had a weird smell to it. I know it’s old because I work at a BK and if it was fresh it wouldm’t have a stenchy smell. It didn’t taste fresh either. The Chicken patty in the Spicy OCS was also not fresh and the bun must have been toasted before and retoasted again that’s why it was kind of burned. The Brownies in the Sundaes were overly cooked. They weren’t soft and chewy at all, they were hard as a rock and I couldn’t even break it with the spoon even when it was soaked in the ice cream. The fries were just okay. But overall, not satisfied with this visit and not coming back. Yes the first impression of the place looked sparkling clean, but there needs to be something done about the food. No wonder it’s so slow and everybody is just standing around. You guys can do better. :)

I was so appalled by today’s service. I ordered four small dollar burgers, a medium fries and a drink at 9:09pm… At 9:23pm I was still waiting for my food! I cannot believe it took that long for four dollar burgers to be made! Absolutely unacceptable. This is «fast food» if I wanted to wait 20 minutes for my food I could’ve paid to go sit at a restaurant instead. Ridiculous! I really liked this location until tonight. They gave me extra fries for the wait, but they lost me as a customer.

Out of all the Burger Kings all went to, this is the best one to go to because the price is as advertised on television and the food is fresh and hot. Young people work here and they know what’s up! They know how to hook a sister up! It is definitely my favorite burger king to go to. Other ones, the food is warm, not proportionate, and the prices are usually a quarter more! WTF! So if you want cheap fast food without sacrificing quality, come to this Burger King, not any other. Plus there is WIFI!

Being a long time customer of Burger King I decided to try the BK Delivers service since they keep sending the coupon mailers to my house.
I was able to set up an account online and make food selections fairly easy, then entered in my payment information. The online site said I needed to have my card available for the delivery driver to review and confirm when he got there with the food which would be in about 40 – 45 minutes. After waiting an hour and not hearing a knock at the door I call the delivery line and was told by a rep that they would need to place a call to the store to check on the status. This right here, having no sync in communicating the status was a hassle. No one wants to call a hotline and then be told they need to wait longer for an update. I simply could have called the store myself for that matter. After waiting, I simply requested to cancel the order as I was going to take my money somewhere else to buy dinner. I logged onto my bank and noticed they took the money out already! So my card was charged and I did not even receive the food. The rep I spoke to said they were going to put in a request for the store manager to contact me regarding a refund, to which I then asked if the store could refund my money. He said yes. He informed a refund would take about 3 – 4 days if I called or I could go to the store to get the funds. I elected to call because it was cold out and late (8:30pm). I originally placed my order at 7 pm. When I called I spoke to a store manager by the name of Judith. I mentioned I had a cancelled order and needed a refund.
She said she didn’t know how she could process a refund and would need to contact the delivery hotline or call the corporate office. I asked her was it standard practice to not contact customers who were waiting on orders to advise of a delay to which she said it wasn’t and she was the one who was to actually call, but was unable to do so because her system went down and when it came up she had 12 orders to fill and she was the only one doing so. She then said it was just her, the cook and two delivery drivers working that night. I was appalled. If BK wanted to implement a delivery service, the least they could have done was made sure they had the proper amount of people to help get the work done. She then said she would call me back. The delivery guy ended up showing to my door at 9:10pm!
I told him the order was cancelled and he just walked away. No apology for the delay, nothing.
Two days later. after no call from Judith, I called the hot line again, then ended up calling the corporate office 5 days later and was told I should have gotten a call and the refund usually is done by then. She got a hold of the SAME store manager Judith who said she would place a call to me. I never got it. The next day I called the corporate office which informed me they only take complaints and forward to the store. Neither the store or the hotline at this point helped.
Long story short… it has been over a week and Burger King didn’t deliver and they still have yet to refund my money. They have lost my business forever and I WILL be seeking a legal way to rectify the issue.

Y’know, it doesn’t take a lot to be a good chain fast food location. Not-​stale fries. Drivethru assistance that aren’t surlier than my surliest days working he same job (I was one surly employee.)
This Burger King has it. Food was fresh, even though it was 15 or so before the end of breakfast.

This place is great and convenient for a late night craving, I personally like the chicken fries and trying the California whopper for the first time. They actually serve the avocado in guacamole form, so don’t let the commercial fool you thinking they give delicious slices of avocado because your going to be disappointed.
