Sorry, but the food just doesn’t taste very good and there has never been anyone in the restaurant when I have been there. The prices are very fair, probably almost too low, but if the Mexican flavors aren’t there, it really isn’t worth the great price in the end.

Briana’s Mexican food is the BOMB Digity! =) I live in the area and have ate there a few times for dinner. My fiancé and I decided to inquire with them about catering our wedding. We went in for a tasting of different meats, etc. We were very pleased with the food and all the different varieties we got to choose from, a few days later we did in fact decide to book them for our wedding(in May). We are so pleased that we did. From the intial phone to the end of my wedding they have been nothing but extremely nice and very professional. The people delivering the food were also nice, respectable to what was going on at the venue and on time! I don’t remember the man’s name but I think he’s the manager, anyway he was very helpful and even gave us some advice and a great price! =) He really did go above and beyond. We ended up choosing just one kind of meat which was carnitas. They are sooooo good!!! Everyone loved it and we received many compliments. My personal fav was their refried beans!!! oh and salsa’s too. Okay, I guess I don’t have a fav I liked it ALL! I will definitely use them again for catering and also stop by their restaurant more often! Thank you Brainna’s!

Ive eaten here several times with the latest being three days ago. Okay I admit the first time I walked in here I thought«Oh help no.» The décor is not going to blow you away but i didn’t come there to eat the light fixtures and booths. This is an inexpensive restaurant. Of course You get The chips and salsa which is good. I wish they had different salsas for those of us who like it HOT. The lunch specials average $ 5-$ 6. That’s for an enchilada, salad, rice and beans. The food has been consistently good. I’ve had the chicken and beef enchiladas. Delish. I had the super burrito which was great and filling. I’m not going to lie. The«salad» consists of a half a handful of lettuce and diced tomatoes. Dont to there for the salad. The food is simple, tasty and inexpensive. I don’t like using the word cheap. They might read thus review, see the word cheap and Jack up the prices. The service is prompt. A big plus is the fact that Latinos eat there. Plus while I’m there I always see people coming in for takeout. In the neighborhood and need a quick, inexpensive(there’s that word again) and authentic Mexican meal? Bam. Hit up Brianna’s. Now I’m hungry.

We love Brianna’s! My husband grew up in a traditional Mexican home. The food here is much like what he grew up with, not Americanized(like some of the chains) and the service is GREAT! Patty, our server, has been nothing but friendly and quick. Even the kitchen folks great day us with a smile? You want the same ol stuff go somewhere else. You want good food, good prices and great friendly service, Brianna’s is your place!

Don’t bother trying this place. Too busy with too many dumb gringos who wouldn’t know good Mexican food if it bit them. Poor service and so-so food. There are better options close by.

I and my coworkers have eaten here many times. The service has always been friendly and quick. Any special requests made have always been honored with no hassles. The food. It’s a solid bet for average, fresh tasting«Sacramento» Mexican food. Very consistent quality. So, why does this joint get 5 Stars? The location. It’s in a very, very sketchy neighborhood. And in my opinion, it takes major huevos to pull everything together day after day, cooking, cleaning, paying the rent, utilities, insurance, etc in this less-than-choice location and serve me a very tasty carnitas super burrito at a more than fair price. Good food, friendly service, fair prices. Can’t ask for more than that!

I gave a 5 star as my first time. Service was good and food was amazing. The bathrooms well there bathrooms they are clean but the surroundings of course the building is old so not to par but good for use and clean. I had no problems here enjoyed the time with my family.

Although shows it’s open till 9pm, walked in at 7:45pm and were told they were closing in 10 minutes and wouldn’t serve us. Really!!! Turning away customers, business didn’t look to be booming. Customer service absent, didn’t get a chance to try the food. No biggie anyways, looked divey.

The tamale was dry and gross. The chicken enchilada was just ok. Beans and rice were good. Salsa wasn’t bad and chips not so good. Wouldn’t go back

So after even bringing in my coworkers to eat here and picking up several lunches for myself and them. One of the orders we were given was the wrong to go order, she got a chicken quesadilla instead of a chicken enchilada. Not a big deal mistakes happen. So I called them and a lady was very friendly and said«we’re so sorry» took my name and # and said I can come in next week and pick up the free correct order. When went in I gave my name and mentioned the wrong order. He questioned me saying I looked at the receipt tape and I didn’t order a chicken enchilada. I said yes that’s what I ordered but you must have punched in it wrong, that’s why I called as soon as I went back to work. He starred at me for a bit like I was lying. He went ahead and said he’d give me the free enchilada for my coworker and I ordered a chicken quesadilla for myself. When I got back to work guess what??? 2 chicken quesadillas! LOL still no enchilada! Yeah… you just lost a repeat customer and my coworkers business for questioning me after I had already called you and you still goofed again.

WAY off of the radar for me. I only ended up eating here because another option was packed, and my family was starving. But it ended up being a pretty nice find! First off, the place is tough to find. The store front is a little weird, and the window painting doesn’t really scream«Mexican food!» so be warned. The décor is nice, but they had a roof leak while we were there, so there was a bucket to catch water on the floor. And the place was EMPTY on a Saturday night. Doesn’t sound great so far, right? Well, the important part is the food, and they deliver. Good menu variety, and tasty, well-spiced food all around. Quick, friendly service as well. The salsa seemed especially fresh, but I may have just been really hungry! All-in-all, it’s a place I’d gladly try again. And I’d recommend it to others, too! It’s sad to see a place with good food sit completely empty.

It is not often I disagree with Unilocal, but I just can’t get behind this place. Hubby and I just gave it another shot, and we probably will not return. Everything they serve is so bland and tasteless. Service is friendly, but VERY slow. Lunch prices are cheap, but I would rather spend a couple bucks extra and get better food. The dinner prices are too high for the food they are serving here. I am just not a fan, which stinks since it is right around the corner from us. I would NOT recommend this place.

We have driven by this place many times over the years so I decided to try out with the Family. The food was disgusting if we can say so being Mexican-Americans. It lacked the true flavors of real Mexican food. It wasn’t good at all even being as hungry as we were. My Son later threw up after a few hours of eating here and had a fever through out the night. Food poisoning? I’d say so; the rest of us all felt queasy after leaving too. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

Pretty average mexican food. Not that great of service, not that great of food, but portions are plentiful. It is a safe bet, but nothing to write home about– and it’s like they’ve never heard of vegetarians before! Meh.

I was referred to this place by a co-worker. Given the location, I was skeptical– so I’d waited a while before daring to go… I regret waiting so long. We’ve never eaten-in, only taken out, so I can’t speak to the in-house experience. What I can say, however, is that we’ve never been disappointed in the food we get. I prefer the«Briana’s Famous Chimichanga» dinner. Typically, when ordering in most places you get 1 serving of whatever it says. This plate comes with *2* of the chimichangas, plus the rest of the stuff(beans, rice, green salad). I have a hearty appetite, but this plate gives me lunch the next day!!! They even give a bag of chips and salsa. Great food at good prices. We’re definitely fans.

I’ve gone to Brianna’s twice during my lunch break now and the final verdict is 3.5 stars. The first time, I ordered a chimichanga and it came with rice, beans, lettuce, guac and sour cream. I remember thinking it wasn’t anything phenomenal but pretty decent for what it is. This time, I had an entertainment book coupon for BOGO so my coworkers ordered their beef fajita plate and I opted for a chicken taco salad. I ordered a peach margarita for only $ 3 to enjoy while I waited for my togo food and it was pretty weak but I can’t complain because that’s pretty much the price of a regular drink and the margarita was decently sized. My chicken taco salad was smaller than I’m used to, I was surprised to find that it fit in a larger styrofoam togo box! They didn’t fill it up to the top with ingredients but that would have been too much anyway. I forgot to tell them no beans so there were a lot of beans and not enough chicken. However, the shredded chicken was delicious and the tomatoes, lettuce, etc. were fresh so the taco salad was a winner. Our orders came with complimentary chips and salsa and I had to pour the salsa on my salad to give it a little more flavor, though. The reason I round up is because prices are so decent. They also offer $ 1 ground beef tacos after 2pm, lunch specials at about $ 6.50, offer free wifi, have lots of seating and great, great customer service. I will definitely be coming here instead of Adalberto’s when I’m craving Mexican or need a margarita but only because I work nearby. Next time, though, I’ll ask if I can pay more for a little more liquor!

I went here during my lunch. I was craving Mexican food, so I based my decision on Unilocal(as usual). They had lunch specials for $ 4-$ 6, can’t beat that! I decided on the Chimichanga($ 6). It was served with beans and Spanish rice, topped with sour cream. Chips & salsa is included in every order for free. I looked through the Unilocal photos and the dish came with two Chimichangas, but when I ordered, it came as one big Chimichanga. The Chimichanga had a nice crunch on the edges, but soft in the middle. It was so fresh and hot. I chose pork as the meat in my Chimichanga and it would just tear off each other as you chew it in your mouth. I would take a piece, dip it in sour cream & pair it with the beans or Spanish rice. So yummy! I just wished they provided more Spanish rice.
