These people are USELESS!!! Paid for my Lic on their new Breze site. Then my Lic says current INACTIVE!!! WTF… so there is an option to change it from inactive to active… NO LUCK. Couldn’t get thru on phone. Tried literally for 2 dang days. Kept getting recording… sorry, we can’y answer your call. Click. Grrrrrr.
So drove 2 ½ hours… they had hardtime fixng it too.
Wile i was sitting there 5 different people were having all kinds of problems. One lady paid once online then 3 weeks later mailed them a check… after 4 weeks still nothing…
What a mess!!!

My family and i were on the road to Chico, Ca when my mom FORCED me to stopped by to pay my initial license fee. LOL although i do know the PAIN of being ON HOLD forever when you call and try to talk to someone from BVPNT, everyone IN REAL LIFE was so nice and friendly. its a very small office/​space, very limited seats. i was so happy with my experience. with my name and address change, i should be getting my actual license in the mail in about 2 – 4 weeks. i walked out with my temporary license and ready to PRACTICE!!! YAAAAAASSSSS!!! :)

Horrible horrible horrible ridiculous. I’ve been trying to get my papers processed for months! I’ve talked to a number of people that work there and I get the same crap from each of them. I sent my paper work in July it’s now December, I have yet to hear back from them. I’ve emailed them, nothing, call them and they say they’re behind. They’re always behind, either hire more staff or get staff that can do the work. On there recording it states 6−8wks not 4 – 8 mths, ridiculous. I am beyond upset and just angry at the fact that they are taking so long to process 1 paper, ONE! it’s a form to update information I already submitted.

I sent an address change and name change last year. I assumed since my name was updated on the verification page, that my address was updated too. Well that was not the case. Due to their clerical error I am forced to pay 25 dollars for a replacement cards. I never received the first one, to be paying for a replacement. I am upset because I am paying for someone else’s mistake. I don’t mind the fee, if it was my fault. The people whom I have emailed or talked with on the phone, seem to have an oh well attitude.

It’s so difficult to get a live person over the phone. When you do e-​mail them, they choose to respond to only what they want to and ignore the rest of the issues you brought up in the e-​mail. Their answers are always the same. My issue never got resolved. I will have to go to the actual office so I can get things resolved. Hate that I have to do that. A really big inconvenience. It’s not that hard to update my name and change of address. It’s not that hard to mail my license to the current address on file. I shouldn’t pay for a lost licensure card if it’s not my fault. I’m pretty upset how, after months of trying to fix this issue, it hasn’t been resolved, even after I did what was instructed from them.

I’m reviewing this establishment as a Director for a nursing school not as a student. I really appreciate the fact that the staff working here is doing the best that they can. Budget constraints and minimum staff to say the least. The amount of LVN new graduates who are applying to take the board exam is quite large.
BVNPT assigns a consultant for each school directors and they help you with questions and guide you on how to proceed in certain situations.
My experience with my consultant Dr. Anne Powers is excellent. She gets back to me on approvals in record time. Sometimes two days on her good days. Normal turnaround time is two weeks. She’s on top of her game and she deserves to know this.

Why the heck does it take 1 whole month to find out whether or not you have passed the NCLEX-​PN while NCLEX-​RN takers find out in 1 – 2 days? Why must you make that whole month more excruciating than the actual period before taking the NCLEX? Get with the effing program BVNPT and speed up the damn process!!!
