I love this stadium cause of the stairs and the hills. Its most of the time accessible. Great place for an out door work out

Evidently one of the only places in the Sac metro area that has a track open to the public– a shame because Sac State or Sac City college bost have much nicer bleachers on which to run stadium stairs. ARC track is nice, however. Looks fairly new. Hasn’t been crowded the few times I’ve been there. If you feel like, or are looking for track work; this is the place. 4 stars to ARC for allowing the public to use the track.

Review #6 of outdoor workout locations: The American River College Stadium(aka Beaver Stadium) is open to the public and is a good place to workout, especially to run bleachers(run stairs) and do track workouts: Pros: Parking is just one dollar. The track is a soft-surface and good for sprint work. There are bleachers. There are plenty of structures for cross training. it opens at 6:00 am. Cons: There are only two sets of bleachers so you don’t get to use a full stadium. The bars are too closely spaced and too thick to do plank pull-ups(modified pulls ups with your body«planked» under the bar). The restrooms(port-a-potties) are simply foul you must get there early to be able to park(before 9:00 am)
