I was happy the first time I found this place. The barbers care about their work. I have sat with Cody and he has listened and executed the cut and style I’ve wanted, to perfection. If you have any questions, Jason and the guys can probably answer them. They have a good selection of services and products at reasonable prices. Today, I was treated to a Hot Towel Shave. Gentlemen, this is the pinnacle and junction of manliness and pampering. Thanks Cody!

I am visiting Sacramento and badly needed a haircut. Tried Barber Blues from good testimonials on Website. They were correct, nice clean, extremely friendly, barber shop. Dustin gave me a great haircut along with pleasant and welcoming conversation. While I was there repeat customers came in confirming my sentiments. Best you plan ahead and get an appointment.

These guys are great. I set up an appointment online with Jesus and I walked in and and waited for less than 5 min to be seen. He definitely knows his craft and I found my new barbershop. They play great music and it’s a relaxing environment.

I’ve been a Barber Blues regular for at least four years now, and the place just keeps getting better. Jason (the owner) has expanded and continued to improve the shop. I usually go to either Jason or Cody (and have always gotten great haircuts from them), but I recently had to come in on short notice and made an appointment with Zach. Zach did an awesome job and is clearly a great barber. I can highly recommend all three barbers, and I’m willing to bet the others will also do a great job for you!

This was my first time at Barber Blues. I saw a lot of good reviews about it so I thought I would give it a shot. I got my cut by Jesus, we carried good conversation. I am very pleased on how my haircut came out he did exactly what I wanted and he took his time didn’t rush at all. Definitely will come back!

Zach is fantastic. He gets me in and out with a great haircut and takes the extra time to trim and neatly shape my beard. Recently, he responded to one of my questions with a recommendation for a new razor that was not only significantly cheaper than the disposables I was using but it also solved the skin irritation problem I was having. I also love the convenience of booking online and would recommend these guys to any of my friends and family. My only request would be to accept credit cards for payment as it is a hassle (for me) to pay with cash or check.

Returning to Sac after a year in NYC, I was looking for a new barber. SuperCuts didn’t «cut» it, unfortunately, so enter Barber Blues. Zach is fantastic — super nice guy and a master of his craft. Highly recommended — the search for a new barber is now over.

Much has already been said in other reviews. Nice, clean, always got on good music, all around great atmosphere.
Most importantly, great barbers.
I always do a skin fade high and tight side part. I get my cuts regularly by either Jesus or Cody, whoever is available. Both guys do a great job on that cut so if thats the type of cut you are looking for, I highly recommend those fellas. (that’s not to say anything about the others. I haven’t gotten my cuts with anyone else save for once or twice… just saying for my particularly cut, that’s my personal experience)

The guys are pretty friendly, the chairs are comfortable & their stations are set up conveniently. Tony’s work is clean, he was on time, polite, friendly & he & the other guys made the place a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.

Barber Blues is a great spot to get a haircut! Jesus cut my hair and his skills were on point! He was meticulous, took his time and paid attention to detail. The location is conveniently located downtown and the setup inside their spot is legit!

This shop is nice & professional. We walked in for a 4:00 appointment and after a few mins was offered a beer. The atmosphere is laid back and looks really nice inside. (Definitely different than other downtown shops.)
If you’re looking for a good fade Dustin will line you up!

Found this place couple months back and so far my experience has been great. Jesus has been cutting my sons hair the last two times and has done an amazing job. I highly recommend him if your looking for someone who has patience and passion in cutting hair. Love the atmosphere at Barber Blues and the respectful men each time I go in.

Since moving to sacramento since 2012 this is the only place I will get a haircut. I have loved watching this barbershop grow from a little hole in the wall to the place it has become today.
The barbers are fun and have become more then someone you see to just cut your hair. It has a friend vibe and feels like a gathering place. Probably what barber shops of back in the day felt like.
And in the end I still say they give the best haircuts around. Glad to see tony is back and the newest renovations make the place look like a true man cave even though I miss the pool table.

Holy wow, I loved this place! My first experience here was with the male half of a wedding party that I was capturing before they entered the hustle and bustle of a busy wedding day. I kid you not, these guys were so relaxed after their time at Barber Blues… And they looked so fab! I will definitely be encouraging more wedding parties to plan their pre-​wedding festivities here! In addition, I plan to send my own bearded Adonis here as soon as possible. What a treat for any guy who can sprout a couple (hundred) facial hairs!
I am posting some images from my first time here, but there will likely be many more to come. Make your event more amazing with this incredible experience. You won’t regret it!
