My battery was going bad, it was 8pm, and one of the employee was willing to help me look at my car. She was so sweet. God bless her!

This here AutoZone here is a pretty busy one. It is located here on Mack Rd in the same parking lot as dd’s. The guys that work here are very helpful and knowledgeable. They do not have a problem coming out and helping anyway they can with your car. I think that is great customers service. Today we are here because we needed to get some oil for the car. Its sad to sat but every time I come here there is always cars with hoods up and today one is broken down and has to be towed. I’m sure these people are not happy about that. Its Saturday and AutoZone is very busy. Its a good thing They have lots of parking here. And I like that they usually have lots of staff working in here. And if you happen to come when they are short handed, you definitely need to have some patients. Got 3 oils and a filter and spent $ 13. bucks and some change. That’s rather expensive to me, but I guess it matters what kind of car you’re buying for. Overall experience was decent and I’m sure I will come again.

Overall one of the worst customer service experiences ever. Associates I dealt with were unprofessional and lacked common courtesy. I wasted more than an hour waiting on these people to check whether my car battery was good or not. Came back and nothing was done. No one had properly checked my battery and the second associate seemed like he wasn’t too interested in helping either. He took me to the back and proceeded with«no one put a sticker on it and whomever turned off the machine didn’t say whether the battery is good or bad so I don’t know». He motions for me to pick up the battery and I do so with some difficulty yet he fails to offer any assistance. Had to ask him to retest it for me and he reluctantly does so. Asked him how long he states 5 – 15 mins when before I was told an hour. After 5 mins the charger starts beeping. He takes me to the back and says«it’s no good» and motions for me to pick it up again. He showed no incentive with helping me with much of anything. Didn’t even offer to show me what battery I would have to purchase now that I obviously needed a new one. I decided to take my business across the street to O’riley auto parts. The associate there was courteous and helpful and stated that they get customers coming from auto zone complaining about their lack of customer service quite often.

I’m huge on customer service(I’ve worked within the industry my entire career) this AutoZone exceeded my expectations by going above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible. About a week ago the battery in my car went out(boo) after 2 days of shopping for the best deal I was content with the pricing and warranty at AutoZone. I had gone to the Mack rd. Location once before and I wasn’t a fan of the area but I knew they’d have what I needed. I was greeted and assisted by a young guy(possibly named Stephen, can’t remember). I had a particular battery in mind however he convinced me that for a few dollars more, I’d be happier with the duralast gold. After my purchase he even offered to replace it for me! Sadly my car was at home, but no one had ever offered such service, I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve met the store manager as well, he is very pleasant to deal with also. If you’re ever in the area and in need of auto parts, this is your store!
