A beautiful and vast selection of authentic native American jewelry in very clean and organized gallery like displays. We were so excited and spent way too much time trying on everything. Rings, cuffs, barrettes, earrings, necklaces, pins, and pendants galore. The owner was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient as I tried on so many rings and bracelets. Native American culture is truly his passion and it shows. We left with two really cool copper postcards depicting buffalo, three sterling silver rings, and a pair of earrings. I was overwhelmed with the selection of beautiful handcrafted art jewelry and could have spent all day looking. There were also a variety of dolls, pottery, and copper jewelry as well as Minnetonka Moccasins.

Great establishment! He has very beautiful authentic Native American jewelry! My last visit I bought a pair of moccasins, this is the only place in town I can find the Minnetonka Moccasins! So comfortable! He also has beautiful dream catchers that are all hand made by the Navajos! Even if you don’t buy anything you can always have a nice chat with the owner Thamar! Put American Legacy on the list of places to go to in Old Sacramento!

A nice store with good eye appeal on how they display their ware. There’s a mix of stuff in the store as other reviewers have pointed out. Saw some kachina dolls, Indian jewelry, pottery. It’s hard to tell how much is authentically made by an American Indian. Didn’t really see anything I liked that I would consider buying.

Total Tourist Trap — But Fun Homage to Native Americans on the Frontier SITREP There is some cool stuff and trinkets to get here, from turquoise jewelry, t-shirts and other knick-knacks that you can leave with that make you feel like you are taking home a part of Old Sacramento and the Old West with you. NATIVESPIRITSHARED From the spirit of the days when Native Americans ruled the West through the flash-in-the-pan excitement of the Gold Rush of 1849, there is enough variety of items here that you will find something to give to an out-of-town relative for sure. THELOWDOWN A fun stop in Old Sacramento.

Really lovely jewelry. I wanted all the cuffs! My boyfriend wanted all of the wolf t shirts. We both wanted all Minnetonka moccasins. The clerk was super friendly and patient while we fell in love with everything!

Very athentic Indian American Store. I bought my very comfortable moccasins here and real ivory sterling silver earings! Not overpriced at all considering the quality.

Today, my husband bought me a beautiful turquoise and silver necklace here because he’s trying to get out of the dog house after buying a $ 715 pet piglet without my consent and drastically lying about the real price(he said it was $ 80.) The necklace looks like a flying bird. It was $ 65(I know, because I was there) and I love it — my husband… not so much today.

While the original category for this establishment read jewelry, this place offers tchotchkes, cards, and other gifts. I found a rather nice selection of local area postcards. I’ll have to remember to look at the other offerings when I visit Old Town Sacramento again.
