Great service! My past review was for the Harvest Bar, but this bakery is worth looking into as well!

Cute bakery with bite sized cookies and chocolates. I had a seminar nearby and swung by for some treats to enjoy later. I really liked the yin and yang cookies(big lover of sprinkles) and pretty much everything else I bought!

The pastries, gelato, and other stuff looks pretty good. I wish my $ 10.85 turkey wrap was as good as the other stuff looked. For what it was, it was decent but about $ 3 – 5 too expensive. It was absolutely nothing special but it was decently tasty but left me feeling ripped off after I opened the to go box. So, go for the pastries and sweets but not the wraps. Don’t think I’ll try any other savory entrees but a gelato may be in my future.

Every bite — ha! no pun intended — is perfection. The owner, Jennifer, has a special talent for creating unique and delicious flavor combinations. Some of my favorites: BITES — the caramels(any flavor, but the rosemary salted is awesome), the Strawberry Balsamic, and the Blood Orange; BETWEEN2COOKIES — Raspberry Ribbon and Yuzu Green Tea; and BARS — Raspberry Almond. Seriously, this one is so incredibly good that I would choose a pan-full for my desert island last meal. Bonus? ABB is on the Requested App! So I can check in, pick out my sweets, and head out; no wallet required. Just go. You’ll be so happy you did.

This place has made my transition from LA to Sacramento so worth it. First, I love the location. The outside seating reminds me of a european setting with glorious trees, restaurants, walkers, and good coffee and treats. I make a point to stop into their shop often for my lunch and treat break. They experiment with flavors in their chocolates and cookies and they are all delish. I want to give them 5 stars but I think they are a lil’ pricey for 4 bites, which when you look at the size is about 1 serving in other places. But… the fact you get 4 different delicious bites in one serving is the bonus for the price($ 5 and some change). I will continue to return and be inspired in my own baking by trying their flavorful treats.

I’ve walked by this countless times while doing outreach downtown. Every time I want to stop by its too early and they arent open. Well I actually walked by after they opened yesterday so I meandered in. I was greeted upon entry which was nice. I walked straight up to the large display case which is divided in half. Half of them are homemade chocolates in pretty much every flavor you could imagine. The other half is cookies and pastry bites. I was looking for a small snack so I went with the cookies and pastries. The woman asked me if it was my first time there, which I replied«yes.» She gave me a few suggestions that included her favorites and ones popular among the customers. I chose a Apricot Oat bar, Cole Cookie Sandwich(2 chocolate cookies covered in sprinkles with marshmallow in the middle) and Apply Cinnamon Cookie Sandwich. They were all very delicious. Very flavorful, soft and moist. My favorite however was the Apricot Oat bar, the apricot flavor was very fresh tasting. The Cole was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The Apple Cinnamon was good, it had just enough cinnamon and a nice soft apple taste that wasn’t over powering. The place was very clean and they have tables both inside and out. The staff was very nice. I cant wait to go back and try some more of their goodies!

It’s everything that was magical, adorable, and delicious about the company before(check the reviews on their main site), plus a conveniently-located storefront what also serves Devine gelato and Chocolate Fish Coffee!

I stopped by About a Bite Bakery for their Grand Opening! They have an amazing selection of little sweets including delectable gourmet chocolates, little cookies and bars, and gelato! Some of the unique flavors of their chocolates include strawberry balsamic, zinfandel, chai latte, honey hazelnut, and various versions of salted caramel — ginger, chipotle, balsamic, rosemary, honey almond, and more. For cookies and bars, some of the flavors that stood out were the ginger molasses, chocolate chip, apricot, cherry chocolate, espresso bean, lemon, and green tea. They also serve gelato from Devine Gelato, the best gelato store in Sacramento! And coffee from Chocolate Fish! They really partner with the best of the best in Sac. I tried the original salted caramel chocolate, which has shortbread on the bottom, caramel on top, covered in dark chocolate, and a hint of sea salt on top. It was really good! I also had the ginger molasses cookie, which is more like a cookie sandwich as it is 2 mini cookies with a light cream filling. It was delicious! The cookies were soft and fresh and the cream filling had a nice ginger flavor. All of the items are made at the store. The workers were very nice and helpful. They had a lot of customers, but made sure everyone was taken care of. They also offered samples of their sweets. The prices are about $ 2.50 for the chocolates and $ 1.25 for the cookies and bars. The gelato is $ 4.75 for 4oz. and $ 5.75 for 6oz. Although this place just opened, so far, it seems like a wonderful additional to K street and a nice little place to pick up some quality chocolates and sweet treats.
