5k Foam Fest

Just validating what the other person said. This is a SCAM. They took my registration money then cancelled the event. DO NOT REGISTER WITH THEM.

DO NOT JOIN THE 5K FOAM FEST RACE!
I signed up for this race with a partner but for various reasons we are unable to go anymore. I registered for the event and that same day, I emailed the company (SINCE THEY HAVE NO NUMBER TO CALL) to request a refund. They didn’t reply back to me until FOUR business days later only to let me know that they do not issue refunds. I explained my situation and pointed out that because I gave MORE THAN ADEQUATE notice (over 30 days advanced notice) that this should be sufficient in being granted a refund. They asked for a specific reason for my request, so I explained them the exact reason for each participant (health conditions, work scheduling)… and still NO REFUND! They offered to transfer my registration funds to someone else if I knew someone that wanted to join and asked if I’d be interested. I told them no and that I would not recommend anyone joining this race based on the level of customer service I received.
They have a very shady operation. No call number to speak with someone. No refund policy. No exceptions. What a waste of $ 111!!!
And actually from what I read from other reviews of the 5K Foam Fest race in other cities… it’s basically a completely UNORGANIZED race full of people waiting for an hour or more in line to get all signed in, go from one obstacle to the next… and the obstacles are extremely dangerous and there aren’t any attendants to monitor the flow of things and the safety of their participants. Oh yeah, not to mention you are basically trudging through miles and miles of ANIMAL POO! GROSS!!!
