Truth is, you get what you pay for. I’ve lived here for almost a year and I can’t wait to get out of here. The walls are crazy thin but thank goodness I have great upstairs neighbors. My room is right next to the bathroom, so when the upstairs are using the water, I get woken up from the sound of water running down the pipelines. It’s abnormally loud. A lot of times there are teenagers hanging out in the parking lot during wee hours, making a lot of noise. The garbage is wide open, so there’s stray cats and raccoons digging in them in the middle of the night. A few nights I even heard them fighting and then next morning there was cat fur all over the ground. There’s nothing wrong with children, I never said I hated them. I probably will have children one day. But this complex has a lot of kids. They run around screaming, play their little games and leave their toys behind. I’m in school and it makes it that much more difficult for me to study and concentrate. The windows are crap. When people are talking or when kids are screaming outside, it feels as if the windows are wide open because it’s that loud. But nope, it’s closed. The good things about this place is — there’s plenty of guest parking. My roommates and I have a total of 4 cars and never have a problem with parking. — The community laundry machines are very new. Instead of changing for quarters all the time, you load your money on a card. — They allow up to two dogs(max 20lbs) and cats. Keep in mind you have to pay $ 50 a month pet rent. — This apartment complex is in a cul de sac. There aren’t traffic noise or random people walking around and is rather safe. — Rent is cheap.
