I’ve been coming here for years and still do, having become very familiar with the staff and family that owns this location and two others in Westchester. The owner and her staff, contrary to the below review, are always cheerful, make me feel welcome and — this is a big one — I never leave without a side-splitting laugh; everyone has a great sense of humor and they’re nothing but kind, knowledgeable and have on numerous occasions accommodated me if a smoothie ever (rarely) came out less than perfect.
If you’re into fitness, be it losing weight or putting on muscle, or even just in the mood for a filling snack, you can’t go wrong here. My favorite is the chocolate Hulk, but a lot of my friends love the more exotic fruit smoothies like Acai and passion fruit.

I love Smoothie King. I do not love Smoothie King in Rye.
I have been at this location a few times. It is on Purchase St in Rye which has little parking availability. Sometimes the place has a long line jammed into the small shop, but often there is only one or two customers in the store at once.
Each visit I have wondered if the employee who serves me is having the worst day of their life — or if they just want to upset their customers.
Some of the younger employees were looking at me while visibly laughing under the rum of the blenders. Then one of them pointed directly at me.
I do not know what about me amused them so greatly, but they continued to giggle and whispered to each other before, while, and after I was paying. Even the owner [censored by the owner] joined in the laughter with employees who were at least twenty years her junior.
They also refused to accept my coupons at this location as well as at a location owned by the same owner in Dobbs Ferry.
