The food is good, but it comes out hot. Let your sandwich sit awhile before taking a bite. Also this is a fast paced deli where you will need to know your order ahead of time. The good news is that you can get pretty much anything.

Awesome deli on Post Rd in Rye! When you drive into the parking lot, your olfactory lobes are already assaulted with the aroma of bacon, so you know it’s going to be good! These guys & gals really know how to make a sandwich. I ordered the Balboa ($ 7), which is Roast Beef & Swiss with garlic dressing on a roll and they do it up right by grilling it up on the flat top grill until that Swiss cheese is oozing out. The only problem I have is that they charge an extra $ 2 if you get it on a wedge. My buddy ordered the Corned Beef Reuben and it looked really good too.
I’ll have to come back to try all the other sandwiches and the hot food selections. For a flat $ 7.95 (+tax), you have your choice of what’s cooked up for the day, whether it’s sausage & peppers, sliced beef brisket, fried fish fillet, mashed potatoes or fried rice and they will fill up the aluminum pan for you. What’s even better is that you bring your food to the separate cashiers to pay, so that the people preparing your food (with gloves on) are not the same people handling your dirty cash (unlike some other delis around here with poorly trained food handlers).

Have nothing bad to say about the place. As someone who grew up in Rye, I still go on a weekly basis. The bacon egg and cheese is the best I’ve had. The chicken cutlet sandwiches, while not traditional, has the perfect crunch and texture to pair with any type of condiment or side.

It’s both a deli and a small market. It’s good at both but, this is really about the deli. The sandwiches are excellent. The bacon, egg, cheese is one of the best you’ll find. I favor the American combo.

Great subs. Murderous lines at lunchtime, but they do their best to move it along.
The sandwich menu is gigantic, though if you dont see what you want I’m sure they’ll make it for you. So far, I’ve had the grilled chicken with bacon, spinach and onions and the sausage and peppers and both were quite good. A foot long will set you back about ten bucks. Fair deal considering the size size and quality.

Love this place! Excellent food, open till 10? And great food/​variety and excellent service. What else do you want from a deli? Great chicken cutlets, cold cuts, wraps and good prices. An easy, no brainer for 5 stars for me.

Good food, fair prices, and lots of things to buy.
I’ve been coming here since high school for the bacon egg and cheese. I think it’s customary for the hs students to get one after a long day of classes. When I graduated, I spent some time away from this place, and it wasn’t until last year that I started coming back.
My mother got me hooked on their roast beef sandwiches back before I became a vegetarian again. That roast beef is some of the best I’ve had, and they make it themselves. It’s usually on the rarer side and very flavorful.
I no longer get the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches here, but I do get egg and cheese sandwiches! Just as yummy.
I’m not a fan of the desserts they sell here, and some of the hot food can be hit or miss, depending on your tastes and preferences. There’s never a long wait, either to buy food, or to pay. It’s also great because if you need to buy more milk or eggs for the house, you can do that while picking up a sandwich.

I am a very regular customer of this extremely convenient local establishment, consisting of food store, deli, take out service, lottery sales, and adjoining liquor store. The staff are all very helpful and the store is open long hours from 6am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, and 6am to 2pm on Sundays. A great local place to food shop. They even have a wide selection of English and Irish food products, including Ribena, if you know what that is!
