This was my first time at BSpa Salon, and I must say that from when I walked in the door, to meeting everyone, this was by far the most pleasant atmosphere I have ever visited in a salon! I went in for a highlight, haircut & keratin, and I must say I was beyond HAPPY! I left with EXACTLY what I had asked for, everyone took the time to speak with me so they knew exactly what look I was going for and I can say that I have never been happier! I found out they have a hidden gem upstairs! A FULLSPA! I am going back for a facial and massage next week, and can’t wait! I already booked my mani-pedi, and will be back to write another review after my spa visits. If you are looking for a great salon, I highly suggest them. I just love the atmosphere, and their prices are great too!(Forget going into NYC anymore… those days are DONE for me :)

I love the space and the service at this location. It is so inviting and once you are in here, you will not want to leave. You can pamper yourself all day here as it is a full service salon and every one here is so friendly. The upstairs is very zen and calming. You can find all the latest hair and beauty products here. Go and get yourself pampered at B Spa Salon!

I was censored by Unilocal from my original post. I hope this review will not be deleted. I love this place. My stylist Alexis was amazing. She was passionate about hair and explained everything to fulfill my curiosity. They used an amazing shampoo and double-dose of conditioner. I also was delighted to get a special $ 25 rate that day. I go to different places because I haven’t found a salon that deals with my difficult hair… I think it’s a keeper!!!

I went in twice for color(root touch-up) and a cut/blow-dry. The first time was OK, nothing great. The second time, the color didn’t take — in some places it appeared as if no color had been applied. I had explained in advance that I had resistant gray and needed that taken into account. When I went back the same week for a do-over, the stylist’s response was defensive and frustrated, which wasn’t good. But what really bothered me was that when I walked out the door(after leaving a tip but not paying for the services) someone ran after me to say I had to pay for the blow-dry. I went back in to ask the stylist, and she confirmed. I said I was surprised, since I wouldn’t have needed the blow-dry if I had not had to come back in for the color to be redone, but she said the policy was to charge for it. I think this is unfair, since they already wasted my precious time and subjected my hair to coloring twice in one week. I found another, better and cheaper stylist at a different salon.

I went to B Spa for a perm. I have naturally curly hair, but the top layers are much curlier than the under layers(which are almost straight). I just wanted to even things out. The overall experience was pretty good … right up to the end when Rita changed the price. I had come in a couple days prior for an assessment, where she had told me $ 125. After she was finished and my hair was drying, she told me that the $ 125 only included labor, and that she also had to charge me for materials, which would bring the price to $ 165. That’s not cool. I should have challenged it with management, but who wants to end their spa day with a confrontation. Also, she gave me a tight spiral perm, despite my repeated statements of «I don’t want a tight perm — I want very loose curls.» I also asked her several times if she was sure she shouldn’t use larger curl barrels. The end result looks ok, but it’s definitely not the look I had in mind. I think Rita had HER vision of how I should look, and she didn’t take the time to understand what I wanted. It’s probably 50% my fault though — I should have brought in a photo, and I also should have insisted on using larger curlers. I guess hindsight is 20⁄20. In general, I liked the salon. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. They use Moroccan Oil products, which is a big plus for curly-hair folks. They kept offering me water and coffee throughout my stay, and I had no trouble redeeming my Unilocal deal. The price gouging is a deal breaker though — I ended up feeling like I’d been ripped off.

Owner is very friendly and warm. Nice staff. Great deep tissue massage from Sharon. Had a facial too — very good, from her name unfortunately have forgotten… I’m pleased — the décor is ok but does need remodeling but I too prefer substance to mere appearance as the other reviewer noted.

In December I was in desperate need of a facial and decided to give B Spa & Salon a try, based on their super deal of a Groupon — 3 anti-aginig facials for $ 149(WOW!). My appointment was made easily and I was greeted with a warm welcome. I was brought upstairs to the rooms which were clean and filled with all the necessities for my service. The facial itself I felt was quite good but I was a bit taken aback by the use of latex gloves through the entire process. I can understand gloves when doing extractions but having my arms massaged by latex was less than desirable. Having said that, I still felt the facial itself was excellent! I returned yesterday for my second facial — remember — it is 3 for $ 149(they are regularly $ 180/each– pretty amazing!). Nazmie was my Aesthetician and I found her to be truly delightful! Her facial massage techniques were like none other I have ever experienced. Her extractions were painless(pressure yes, pain no!). I have already booked my next appointment with Nasmie!!! They are continuing to upgrade the facility since my first visit in December — upstairs has been painted and has a fresh and warm look to it! I would recommend stopping by I know the spa offers many other treatments and services!

I am known for being a bit of a «snob» when it comes to salons. Yes, I like fantastic salons… No, you will never see me step foot in a sketchy one. But, there’s a reason for it. If I am going to drop around $ 200 — $ 400 at a salon, it better be damn worth it. Yes, my hair upkeep costs that much… because I got about 3 times a year… and I go with the intention of what I am getting is supposed to last me a hell of a long time and better grow out nicely. So, cut, color, whatever else… it adds up Also, keep in mind that it’s not just the über-fancy salons that get my money(actually, very rarely that happens. I want quality… not a sham). The ones that really get my attention… the ones who I will refer constantly… the ones who are on my «go-to» list… are the ones who show they have talent… and/or potential. This salon was originally named something else… which was acquired by B Spa and Salon. I happened to be checking out the salon and getting a Brazilian Blowout while she was there and talking about her plans for the place. Do you know what I noticed when I walked into the salon? That even though it needs its own makeover to come up to par and compete with the other top salons of Westchester… everything else was there. I mean… the people were there. The service was there. The customer attention was there. It’s a salon that has everything except the refined look. I forget my stylist’s name. I was very exhausted that day. But, she was kind, courteous, and did a fantastic job on my Brazilian Blowout. I am curious to see how well they do at cutting my hair… but I will reserve that for another day… and another review. Until then… this is a salon that is definitely up and coming… and I am excited to see the evolution in the upcoming months.
