Quaint place, only 5 tables plus seating on the patio, but the food! Homemade, and the burgers fresh and hearty! Don’t forget the banana pudding! Only 4 star, because cash only, and drinks in a can. I’d still go back to try the Mexican dishes!

Absolutely delicious. Great little café at the Rutherfordton airport. Owner Ron is a gem of a host, you meet him and feel like you’ve made a lifelong friend.
He really does know how to cook authentic Mexican food. I had the pork verde burrito and it was as delicious as those I’ve had when I lived in San Diego.

Such a friendly little place! The owner/​cook/​musician is super nice and makes excellent food. He said his specialty is Mexican so my husband and I each selected a such a dish. I had the enchiladas and he the pork verde. Both were fresh and delicious. Do not leave without getting the banana pudding, he said it was his mother’s recipe and it is to die for! Highly recommend this to any pilot looking for a good pit stop or $ 100 Hamburger. Just a note, it is cash only.

Amazing cheeseburgers and banana pudding! Great place to stop if you are in the Carolina’s! The owner is incredibly friendly!
