Fresh, chunky, delicious deli sandwiches. Despite how crowded it gets around lunch time, the line moves quickly and the staff is very nice.

If you love sandwiches the place has it covered. They make monster size sandwiches. Packed with meat, looks like a pound or more sometimes. Mac salad is also good.

Working at Rutherford High School you quickly become acquainted with the best eating places in town … Best take out sandwiches would be Forest Dairy… call ahead and they always will have your order waiting for you. My favorite is a Sloppy Jeff roast beef, turkey, pepper jack cheese on rye with Russian dressing and coleslaw… heaping portions… this place is always great!

Great, local deli/​liquor store/​convenience store all in one.
As far as the deli goes, they sure know how to stack a sandwich. For about $ 6 you get a sandwich with any toppings you want, literally filled with meat. They do not skimp on the meat here. I love that the lettuce on the sandwiches is shredded lettuce and all of the cold cuts are always fresh and refrigerated! On weekdays they have specials and sandwiches come with a bag of chips or a side. They have fresh coffee all day and a cappuccino machine with three flavors of cappuccino/​hot chocolate.
The staff is always super friendly and very quick. Even when there’s a line you don’t wait very long at all.

If you like a thick sandwich this place is for you. I go here every few weeks and get the roast beef. Hands down the best deli sandwiches in the area. The price isn’t bad either considering they definitely don’t skimp.

This place is interesting. Its a convenience store/​deli/​liquor store. They have a little bit of everything which I think is great. I ordered a turkey/​roast beef/​cheese/​red peppers on a roll. They are not stingy with the meat which is the best part. The bread is not the freshest which is why i’m taking off a star. I will def come back here to pick up a sandwich when needed. FYI– about $ 7 for the sandwich.

Hands down the BEST sandwiches within all surrounding towns. E. Rutherford, Carlstadt, Woodridge, N. Arlington, Lyndhurst. Forest Dairy is a long time business and a hidden gem among some of the over priced more elaborate eateries on Park Ave.
Great quality REAL bread and the cold cuts are always ice cold so fresh and the sandwiches are layered perfectly into a mile high portion! Home style good stuff! Hungry yet?! Order ahead avoid a wait.
