If you want to take a trip to another country without a passport or crossing a boarder then this is the place to eat.
«Authentic» describes it really well. The fact that someone in the back that made my food probably didn’t speak English definitely made the authenticity go up.
Also, definitely take advantage of the random drinks they have in their cooler. I got this really cool apple flavored soda that was made by coca cola that I’ve never seen before.

True Mexican food… Love the menudo! Simple, great tasting food. It’s like Mexico in Ruston LA. Tacos la lengua are great, barbacoa is great! It’s a must if you want the real deal!

The location has been open for roughly five years, but new management has really impacted the menu — fantastic food, fresh ingredients, authentic regional cuisine (guessing Chilango /​Mexico City), and incredible prices ($ 2 for a soft taco).
More foodies looking for quality cuisine in North Louisiana need to patronize this joint. Only caveat: it’s Chilango décor and atmosphere: simple, loud Univision stations, with plenty of trinkets (boots, belts, CDs) and piñatas.
Since it’s located across from the Municipal Park & Pool, picnics need never be dull. Moreover: they’ve got Mexican coke, Jarritos, and fruity ice creams.
