Olsen’s Music Center

Just a tad bit higher than online shops but if you’re looking to buy locally you can’t go wrong here.

Suppose you live in good old Russellville and you want to buy a guitar. Gotta haul on down to the dreaded Guitar Center in Little Rock, right? Not necessarily. Olsen’s Music surprised me. Although it occupies a seemingly narrow storefront in downtown, this store is surprisingly deep and very well-​stocked.
Much to my surprise, they are the only authorized Ibanez dealer in the whole zip code. They also service the instruments they sell with a guitar tech on staff.
They don’t stock a ton of high end gear, but they seemed to have a lot of good mid-​range equipment, everything you’d want for maintenance (strings, polish, fretboard conditioner, picks) and they did a great job tracking down an electrical gremlin in my guitar.
