Not too big on writing about cemeteries but my Uncle Jay is buried here with his wife. I did not have the pleasure of meeting him s he passed away in 2000, eight years before I had met my birth mom. The place is well-kept up and it’s actually quite peaceful out in the countryside. I am not one to judge how folks decided on being taken care of once they’re dead but I really can’t see spending thousands and thousands on a tombstone, casket and all the other things they try to sell you. I either want to be stuffed just like Roy Rogers horse Trigger and dwell in my son’s hallway… okay, I really wouldn’t do that. I think a Viking Funeral Pyre Ship Ritual would be cool though.
