Wanted to take the 2 pups out for a playful time to burn some energy. Decided to research dog parks in the local area and found this spot. Tucked away in a residential area with a backdrop of a wooded area this small dog park was an adequate find. I was hoping there would be other pet owners and their small 4 legged tikes but no luck today. It was only me and the pups. A fenced in dog park with chipped wood as the ground surface area which one of my pups found appetizing. As the photos show its a small dog park that even with a small dogs doesn’t have a lot to offer. The pups enjoyed sniffing around the park several times and got exercise as I threw a tennis ball on the elevated slope multiple times. I think larger dogs would not get much out of this park and must be catered more to the medium to smaller dogs due to it small size. Not a great park nor a bad park just an okay park and would recommend for smaller dogs. In addition, if you want your small dog(s) to be socialized, you must come when there are more pet owners here and I am unsure of when that is. Clearly, not mid days on Saturdays…

Just went there today and had a blast. It was our first time taking our dog to one of these parks, so we thought it was a great place to start and we were right. Not huge, but he ran around a ton and had an absolute blast. There were two dogs when we got there, and their owners were extremely polite and considerate. They ended up leaving after a few minutes because one of their dogs was chasing our dog around. They didn’t have to do that, but I was impressed by their consideration. It was clean, had poop bags and a garbage can for the bags and all the equipment was in excellent condition. Will be going back until our dog gets used to being at a dog park and then maybe will try Timbercreek next.

This park was great for my dog to run around learn some tricks. I took my dog to this park a few times until I learned about Timber Creek Park which is actually closer to my house. Some cons: There was NEVER any other dog there. I knew other people took their dogs because there was often poop left behind. It’s quite small — about the size of an average backyard. The fencing is a bit loose. My dog squeezed through one side and escaped. Some pros: Nice and quiet, so I was able to practice basic training with my dog. I even got her to do the obstacle course a few times. Aside from owners not picking up after their dog, it is clean. This park was great while I was teaching my new dog some commands and getting her used to being off a leash, but there are definitely much better parks.

I used to love bringing my dog here to give him a place to run. However today I brought him here for the first time in about 3 months and I have to say I’m really disappointed with the lack of maintenance. The entire park is being overrun with weeds and the ground is completely littered with cigarette butts and other trash. Would be a good park if they would just clean it up.
