Starlight Limousine Service

Absolutely terrible! Booked a one way ride at 5pm for a black tie event we went to last night, he took all information and credit card number. At 5:10 I called 5 times and left one message. By 5:30 we drove ourselves. My mother who was home at the time texted me that the driver showed up just after we left. He claimed he was late due to traffic in Boston, but never called to notify us. We still have not received a call of apology or explanation. Terrible service and obviously not professional. I wouldn’t rely on them for a ride anywhere.

Absolute scumbag, left four girls stranded for a concert and it was an 18^th birthday present. Claimed he double booked, went by his business and all his cars were there. Stay away from this scumbag, his cars are all junk so probably just as well they aren’t in one of them.

Call them only if you’re ok with the groom being left stranded on the side of the road en route to the wedding. Because that’s what happened. (Luckily kind strangers offered to drive him). The limo the groomsmen took broke down repeatedly– 3 or 4 times on the 30 min drive to the venue. The car also had to stop for GAS because it wasn’t properly filled prior to pick up. There were two small children in that car as well which makes me so nervous for the overall safety.

I didn’t use their service, but here’s why you probably shouldn’t:
Coming back from South County I was greeted by their Ford Excursion limo flying up on my tail going somewhere between 80 and 100 mph. This guy then proceeded to drive as close as humanly possible for the next few miles, until he had an opening to pass everyone (this is in Sunday afternoon beach traffic mind you). When he tried to squeeze back into the left lane, he nearly hit the car in front of him, and also me. The kicker here was the classy middle finger I got afterwards. We then watched this guy tailgate the poor souls in front of him for the next 20 minutes, all while swerving around and driving in two lanes.
By the way, why would you hire a limo driver who’s going to smoke a huge ass cigar in your vehicle? I don’t know about you, but I’d pass on renting a limo that smells like your grandpa’s living room.

Was moving entire family across country and need a large vehicle to take us to the airport. Called once, said he was on the road but would call back to confirm appointment. Never called back, called him two days later, confirmed appointed.
Morning of flight left a message that driver never called to confirm pickup, and didn’t have our address. Ended up renting a large minivan to drive everyone up the airport last minute.
The level of stress was unbelievable and he has zero interest in my business. I would HIGHLY recommend using them if you actually need to get somewhere on a specific date or time.

I’ve done my best to support this local business for about 6 years but have to give up. Late pickups, sloppy service and the driver got lost… twice…from the airport… with a GPS.

I was incredibly pleased with my experience with Starlight — the great staff and cheap price certainly left me wanting to write a stellar Unilocal review. First off, Valerie (who handles phone calls, scheduling, emails, etc.) was incredibly fast and friendly. The driver was great too — he was right on time for pickup, kept to himself when we were hanging out, and was really attentive with opening doors/​ensuring we had a good experience without being too overbearing (he seemed in no rush to ditch us as we approached the close of our booking — made for a very relaxed environment).
We got a 10 person limo for 3 hours at $ 86/​hour ($ 260 after all fees) — and this included tip. Since I was organizing my bro’s bachelor party, I wanted to find the best rate so that the other guys could save their $ for other bachelor party activities — so I called about a half dozen other limo companies for quotes — and all were at least 15% more expensive.
All in all, we had a fantastic experience with Starlight — great time using the limo as our mobile party unit and for less than $ 30 a person.

I was extremely disappointed with my service from Starlight. I first spoke with Starlight before the wedding and told them I needed a car big enough to fit 14 adults — including 6 girls in big dresses. They assured us that their white limo would be large enough. Wrong. 2 of my bridesmaids didn’t get to ride in the limo because they didn’t fit, and a groomsman had to sit on the floor. Won’t use them again!
