I received a nice message from the owner explaining why people didn’t come from the back when a customer came in and how he fixed the problem. I went there today and he was true to his word; someone came from the back immediately. The treats are as great as ever!

I have been coming here since they first opened and I truly love the treats and the staff! Every time I come in I get something different and I am never let down. I recommend trying the fruity pebbles milk shake. It’s my fav!

I had a small lite vanilla cup with Heath bar topping. It was yummy and only 200 calories! My friends tried the chocolate custard and Italian ice and said they tasted very good too.
This is a wonderful little spot in City Place for a sweet treat. The staff was very friendly.

I know it’s an Italian ice joint, but boy, their frozen custard is so freaking good! I’m a firm believer in desserts no matter how full I am from a meal. I have a theory that ice cream will just melt around the food in your belly so there’s always room for dessert.
I had a hard time finding this place because I thought I was at the end of the shopping plaza but realized that they are facing Southern Blvd around the corner from what I thought was the end of the shopping plaza. The staff was nice and the store was clean. I ordered the Gelati which is a layer of frozen custard, topped with a layer of Italian ice, then finished off with another layer of frozen custard. The chocolate frozen custard was so good. The strawberry Italian ice was really good too but not so much together. Next time I’ll just get the frozen custard. My son had the sundae topped with peanut butter and caramel. Drool…

Customer service is VERY important to me. It determines if I’ll ever spend a dime at an establishment again. This place has GREAT customer service! They are very informative and friendly. We sampled the ice until we found what we LOVED. However there was no bad flavor their all good. Please keep in mind that this may be a older location BUT it has been under new management for the past year. Overlook old reviews! Thank you Rita’s see you soon!

Our family visits to Rita’s is on the regular. Some usual favorites are the custard, gelati, and blendini. Must try flavors of ice include black cherry, cherry, mango, strawberry, and blue raspberry. The custard is on the softer side with chocolate and vanilla twist as the staple choice. If you want to save a few bucks, there are many deals with coupons, buy 1 get 1 free or checking in on Unilocal to get 10% off. Either way, Rita’s water ice will be one of our family’s favorite place, not to mention it’s in a large plaza with plenty of other shopping.

Custard was good, but the service was shady. The manager was a real jerk, and kicked us out right after we paid because he wanted to close. We had to eat our ice cream on the sidewalk with the kids.

Decent place for dessert…
The custard was not cold, which is really weird. It’s ice cream, isn’t it?! That was the biggest turn off for the place. I guess that’s just how custard is but when you are trying to enjoy a cold dessert this would not be the best option.
The Italian Ice taste artificial and are way too sweet.
