One Price Dry Cleaning

I took a jacket in for alteration and carefully explained what I needed and showed the lady exactly what I meant. There seemed to be a language gap, so I explained it carefully again so there would be no misunderstanding. When I came back to pick up my jacket, it was all wrong! She had done exactly the opposite of what I asked. In addition to that, the work was sloppy and unprofessional. I could have done a better job myself, if I only had the time. When I told her this wasn’t what we had talked about, she said that what I wanted could not be done, therefore she did this. What? Then just say you can’t do it and return it! I asked for a refund, since she refused to re-​do it and now I had to take it somewhere else to remove their work in addition to having it done again, and BAM — suddenly no more language gap! This tiny lady went ballistic, told me to get out of her store, shoved only half of what I had paid her toward me, refused to refund the rest as she had «already paid» the alteration person. I left after telling her she was rude, but went back in and asked for her business card (which she again shoved across the counter). After I get over my absolute shock, I will contact the BBB about this place. They were recommended to me for alterations by a friend who owns a business just down the road. My recommendation is that she stop recommending them.

comparing this place to cleaners in Miami is nuts in my book. this places very good for the money. they do a very good job and the staff is always friendly. prices make sense.
