Food was good but beware of the pricing. I went for the lunch buffet and the menu doesn’t list a price. I asked the waiter the price and he told me $ 9.95. When the bill came it was $ 12.95. The waiter said the prices change daily on the buffet and it was just some confusion. I paid and as I was leaving I heard him tell another costumer it was $ 9.95. I won’t be coming back to this dishonest place again.

Got a really good deal on groupon for this place. I took my BFF as a date. She ordered veggies seasoned with Tikka Masala, it was very sweet and savory. I ordered Aloo Gobi, it was extremely delicious :) For spiciness, we both ordered«mild». Also, for an appetizer we got a garlic naan bread and it was only $ 3 and totally rocked!!!

The food is delicious, the drink menu is great. The restaurant atmosphere is typical of similar restaurants and the staff is very friendly. The price is a little on the high side for the area, the quality is there but you better be ready to pay the price.

Came here with a friend for dinner and the food was excellent. We came 30 mins before closing time and didn’t really knew about it since Unilocal says they close at 10:30 but they actually close at 10 but the manager was very nice about it and still accomodated us. Great Indian food. I ordered Butter chicken and it was fantastic. I came here before with my family for a lunch buffet, few choices but still great food. Nice ambience more like an upscale restaurant vibe and very chill. Servers were very nice and attentive.

What a surprise that anybody would say this place isn’t great — but I see a few inexperienced Indian diners have done so. Wrong! We had«Chicken 65,» a fantabulous chicken appetizer, chicken tikka masala(I always get this on my first visit to an Indian place because it’s THE dish everywhere, and I gauge the restaurant by it) and lamb korma. Both were great. When you get the chicken tikka masala and it’s made with breast meat and it’s still moist, that alone tells me there’s some culinary expertise in the kitchen. That’s how it came out. But beyond that, the flavors were dead on. The paneer naan, though, was HEAVEN. I told our waiter to pour half a gallon of ghee on it and it came out accordingly glistening. Wow! The only thing I might change is the sprinkling of green cardamom onto our mango lassis. It’s typical to include it in gulab jamun or whatnot like this, but I don’t like chewing on poppyseedesque niblets. No big deal. The experience was excellent. And we were invited back, and people came by asking how everything was, as if they cared! Who does THAT anymore?!

What an amazing restaurant! Our first visit here. The waiter, Justin, was super helpful and knowledgable about all of the choices available to us. The menu appealed to us because we are vegan, and there were very many reasonable choices. We ended up ordering the Dosa appetizer which came with three different dipping sauces. And then the Channa Masala(chick peas) and the Aloo Gobi(cauliflower and potatoes) entrees. Heavenly! So delicious! Some wine, tandoori roti bread rounded it out. Raj the manager was very pleasant and gave us a complimentary port to finish off. So amazing! We will definitely return and cannot recommend highly enough!

I took a colleague here who never had an Indian food for an great experience. Restaurant looked good and seem to have good reviews! We set down and had Papad as a starters. Paps seemed to taste okay so ordered our main course. All seemed okay until… the cockroach showed up from behind the wax paper! It came from between the wax paper and the carrier. All along the roach was their but the black color of the carrier did not allow us to see it… Of course we called the manager — Raj was very nice and apologetic and said would take care of the problem. However, as they say«if you see one cockroach there many behind the wall» So we simply left the place and decided to stay hungry fro the remainder of the night! So buyer be aware!

Nom Nom nom. Best restaurant in the Wellington area. And let them choose your dinner. I had this vegetarian dish that was the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I sure do wish I remembered what it was called. …

We have enjoyed the India Grill both for lunch and for dinner and the food is excellent.(Like all Indian food, it has tends to be a bit oily and salty, but if you like Indian food, the choices here are top notch.) The lunch buffet is larger than most Indian restaurant buffets, with more options that seem to vary from week to week. Nice selection. Dinner was wonderful, and the spices were amazing. Indian food is our favorite, and we really appreciated how flavorful this food was; the spices really tasted fresh. Service was pleasant and timely. One of our favorites in this area.

Poor food, poor experience. First, they open at 11:30 and the buffet was not ready until noon. We are quite the Indian cuisine lovers and this is second worst food we have had between Ft Lauderdale and West Palm. This did not taste like fresh, homemade food. Seemed like a lot of commercial ingredients. Quality seemed sketchy, lacked flavor although some dishes were overly spicy rather than flavorful. One dish was an unnatural shade of red leading me to believe they are using artificial colors(can’t wait to see if I get a headache from this!). We don’t eat meat but are not offended by it. However, they had a goat dish that made me want to gag from the smell. Thanks for the dosas but again, lacking flavor in the filling and the dosa itself was burned. Just can’t hold a candle to the quality of Woodlands in Ft Lauderdale.

Sajeev was my waiter and I cannot say how much I enjoyed my dinner. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was absolutely delicious! The garlic naan was also awesome. Sajeev was also kind enough to box everything up for me at the end of my meal. Was a very lovely place to go to have a nice dinner while I was out of town for business. Can’t wait to come back and eat here again!

Tonight had the goat madras which was delicious. Also had the lamb saag and that was sooo tender it fell apart in my mouth. Everything is always fresh and delicious.

This is by far, my favorite restaurant in the area. My husband and I used to go to this restaurant in Pompano Beach when it was known as Madras. It moved up to Royal Palm Beach and we were heartbroken! Imagine our surprise when we recently moved to Wellington and found our favorite restaurant 5 minutes away! So excited! Ten of us went last night for my birthday and as usual, the food was divine and the service awesome! I was nervous at first because most people in my party are«meat and potatoes» for every meal kind of people. They rarely try anything new. However, the pickiest person of all, my father-in-law, said it was the best food he had ever had! I always have the Lamb Rogenjosh. The meat is so tender, you can cut it with a fork. Other places cannot cook lamb like that. The seasonings and spices were spot on. I am so glad we have our favorite restaurant near us again. We will be back, and back and back!

This was my first time coming to an Indian restaurant with my boyfriend and it was very delicious and our server was great. We ordered the Somosa for an appetizer and had no idea really what we were eating but it was delicious! Especially with the garbanzo bean sauce it comes with. The only mistake was to order my butter chicken medium because mild wasn’t spicy at all! Definitely coming back!

Came here day after New Years with my new wife my brother new wife and my other brother along with his friend. I wish an hour and 10 minutes into our meal I could tell you how the meal is or was. Unfortunately, I still can’t give you a full review since every table but us has been served their meals. Unacceptable. Tables that came in after us were being served their checks. We finally got our meal after the hour and 21 minute mark. Arrived at 6:40 pm and entrees arrived at 7:11 pm. Again disappointed since the reviews are 4.5 stars. The waiter told us after 25 minutes that the soups would be ready in 2 – 3 minutes. I was a waiter, this means they forgot and now had to rush to bring us the soup. The soups were loaded with cumin and cardamom which I don’t mind except when the soup tastes like the root of the plants. The main meal from what we ordered was ridiculously over spiced especially for butter chicken. Come on. How can you make butter chicken spicy. My brother had the same dish as myself and his is sweet and not spicy. They don’t even have quality control of their butter dishes. I will be leaving as hungry as when I arrived. Very unimpressed, bad service, bad quality control, and I am firmly believing that we were unfairly treated because we were a table of white people. Other tables which were the same cultures as the people who worked their got their food 30 minutes earlier and arrived after us. On a side note, if your employees are going to yell at one another in front of the patrons, at least do it in the back of the kitchen so we don’t see it or hear it. Poor, poor manners and quality control. Shame, shame !!! Shame!!!

Just in case anyone is confused — this restaurant is called India Grill + Bar — NOT Madras. They are associated with Madras, but this place has a different name(and sign). I just have this to say: this is the BEST Indian buffet we have ever had, anywhere — in Florida, New York, New Jersey or New Orleans. A big selection of items, all excellent and excellentlyl prepared. I won’t even go into specifics, since I’m sure the selection changes. But everything was great! In fact, there were several unique dishes we had never had before. Plus fresh naan and stuffed bread(«crêpe») were brought to the table.(Note; we were there on a Sunday, so the weekend buffet.) Sajeevkumar, who served us, was outstanding — vertyfriendly and extremely helpful/professional. Thank you, Sajeevkumar! My only regret about this restaurant is that it’s an hour drive from our home. We live in South Broward. If it were closer, I’d be there 3 – 5 times a month. But we will be back, many times. As soon as we can!

Hands-down, five stars. This place was absolutely delicious and the service was really good. The chicken tikka was so good! The sauce was perfection and the jasmine rice with caramelized onions was perfectly done and quite yummy! The garlic nan was exceptionally well done! It was cooked perfectly and also seasoned impeccably! I would highly recommend coming here and enjoying their cuisine! On top of it all, they have a bar adjacent that looked like it was popping! So, you have the best of both worlds… a laid back more formal restaurant and a casual younger crowd bar! Either way, this place is absolutely a hit! Yum!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere, service, food, and attention to detail were all extraordinary. We were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. We mentioned this to the server. First they brought us free champagne. They also recommended some dishes, one we did not select. Upon bringing a meal they actually brought us a tasting of the dish that they had suggested. We should have listened their selection of the tandoori chicken was really delicious. When we were finished eating we were really stuffed. Next thing we knew the waiter brought us a really lovely dessert for our anniversary. We will be back.

Excellent as always! Came here with the Orphans and had a great meal once again! The buffet is a very good way for first timers to come and try out the dishes and I would definitely making it on the weekend as they have a larger number of dishes out there. Ken enjoyed his meal and Rick needed a wheelbarrow to cart him out of there. The freshly served Naan and Dossas at the table add a nice touch to an already great meal as one can make a meal just on the Naans! Keep up the good work Soye and we will most definitely be back when we are in this neck of the woods!

We’ve been back twice since our first visit, once for the lunch buffet and another traditional dinner. Our waiter from the first visit remembered us both times(partially, I’m sure, due to my boyfriend preference for extremely spicy food.) They were much better about keeping my water filled both times. This most recent sit down dinner, our waiter recommended the Onion Bhajee starter. It is their most popular appetizer for good reason. Almost an indian spiced bloomin’ onion if you can imagine such a thing(though different presentation.) My boyfriend stuck with his Garlic Naan, which he got last time and I, on the recommendation of another Unilocaler, got the Kashmiri Naan –which was amazing. I got the Madras curry again(indian medium), with lamb this time. The lamb was a bit too fatty texture-wise in a few bites, but that is the nature of lamb. I want to try something different, but it is hard to turn down something I know is delicious. The boyfriend got the Chettinad curry with goat«as spicy as they could make it,» which he tells me he enjoyed immensely. I dipped a bit of Naan in it and can confirm that it lived up to the spiciness. As good as the dinner is, the desert is something else entire. I have to get desert every time because of the Mango Kulfi. It is so delicate yet complicated flavor-wise that it is difficult to describe. Sweet, savory, and spicy mango icecream. Try it!
