I got to the store right at opening after a discouraging trip to home depot. The guy was so nice and helpful, I was thrilled. Will definitely be going back for my other home improvement needs!

This place should impress anyone who likes woodworking and carving. While I am by no means highly experienced with either, I do like to spend money, especially on tools.
The people at Rockler know their stuff, and the selection is good, even though the store is a lot smaller than I had expected. (The website has a seemingly endless selection, fortunately.)
I went for an obscure router bit and a rare piece of wood, and they delivered on both. It’s not a cheapskate’s paradise like Harbor Freight, but the quality difference seems to be substantial. Knock on wood.
They also have a lot of old timer devices… The handheld, human powered things that give woodworking a little romantic bent. While I like to buy and own those things, I was raised by video games and sometimes like it fast. Rockler can give you both.
