Food was pretty good but service was interesting… they were training and had an issue with it taking quite a while for food to come out. And when it did, it wasn’t all correct. Granted we did have a party of ten, but we were one of four tables and the other tables were parties of four or less. Two pair ordered the exact same meal and they didn’t arrive the same. If anything, those two meals should have had the same mistakes. Anywho… Food was pretty good once it did arrive. Tip: they charge an extra $ 1.50 for bleu cheese dressing and the dressing isn’t anything special… go for the Italian, it’s not half bad.

Our experience here was remarkable. We had a great spaghetti dinner with Italian sausage and I really loved the atmosphere. We enjoyed the oldies playing on the sound system and our server, Ted, bent over backwards to give us everything we wanted or needed for this perfect dinner. I would love to go back again.

Great Pizza, great pasta, great sauce and lots of cheese. Breadsticks are wonderful and the salads are chilled. Can’t go wrong.

This place has really gotten bad. Bland food, waitstaff that doesn’t have a clue. I can see them going out of business soon. We weren’t the only patrons having issues. Sad. At one time was the place to go. We won’t be back. Will be frequenting Picanos in Troy. A longer drive but at least they care about the customers.

Poor ingredients, nothing special. Last time I was there, the obese owner, Joe, was degrading his wait staff calling them ‘stupid’ and was harassing them while they were trying to help customers. It was so embarrassing to see a business owner act that way in front of customers.

Awesome food, excellent service. My husband had the chicken Parmesan, amazing ! So tasty and large portions. I had the antipasto salad, it was delicious.

I live close, so when I am late from work and still hungry sometime I forgot why I neglect this place. They have good pizza, I will give them that, it’s pizza, not over priced and available quickly. But the 5 times I have came into eat and ordered anything other than pizza or breadsticks I am disappointed. I’d prefer an exotic dance emporium to this food… Would be better for the neighborhood.

I always see cars parked in the parking lot when I pass by this place, so I figured I’d give it a try. Wrong decision. Parking lot was packed but nobody was in the restaurant so I’m not sure where they all go? Food is really bad and so is the service. The whole restaurant was open and they sat us right next to the area where they throw all the dirty dishes. The waiters were just goofing around the whole time and I saw one picking his neck pimples. Absolutely disgusting. Food came out and it was a joke– my veal Parmesan was grey on the inside. My wife’s chicken spaghetti was nasty as well. Everything tasted freezer burnt. Will never go again.

We hadn’t been here in a couple years– if they have a new cook they need to go get the old one back. The bread was greasy– extra greasy The lettuce was bitter so I didn’t finish my Caesar salad But the worst was the grossest carbonara I’ve ever had– it looked like just a plate of thick soup like sauce– the radio was too much sauce and not enough noodle– the taste bland– thank goodness for the occasional bite of bacon-the chunks of chicken tasted like it had been poached and thrown in– I didn’t finish it– It may be awhile before we return, which is too bad because it was one of my fave places

OMG — I love Pasqueles. The homemade desserts are to die for. So good. I also am a big fan of the eggplant Parmesan, the bread, spaghetti, and the cheese pizza. I am sure that other things are wonderful, but those things are so perfect I don’t veer from them. We always take home at least one or more pieces of dessert for the next day.(Generally a pizza too!!) Yum, Yum — I love Pasqueles.

I don’t want to leave this review as my husband inexplicably loves this restaurant, I think from when he was a kid who rarely got to eat out with his big family. Anyway, the reason I am leaving it is because I would like the owners to read it in case they are wondering why their longstanding business is in slow decline. I’m guessing kids are in charge or maybe it has new owners but basically, they make it clear that they don’t care about your business ATALL: 1) We go there so often and for so many big family events year after year and they’ve never once remembered us, or welcomed us or made us feel special for our many years of continued loyalty. Ever!?! It’s astonishing. 2) Our last big birthday dinner… not even one candle. A smile from the server might also be appreciated. Oh btw, did I mention that they charged us for the slice of bday cake. 3) Had to send back an undercooked, terrible looking fish dish, no apology for serving us an embarrassing mess. Basically, when your food is mediocre, your décor from 1977 and the only thing keeping your doors open is nostalgia, treat your few repeat customers like they matter and train your employees to go beyond the bare, sad minimum. Basically, learn a 30-year repeat customer’s family name, learn to smile, and freaking buy some candles! The non-existent manager should be out of work. If it were up to me, we’d never darken your depressing doors again.

It is Xmas Eve and it was busy. We had a party of 8 with an infant. One of our dinners was forgotten the rest were delivered one by one over a span of 20 – 30 minutes. Our waitress complained she was assigned to tables all over the restaurant. Had a hard time getting drink refills and our waitress was missing for 30 minutes while we were waiting for the final dinner. Won’t go back and can’t recommend-which is a shame. I really use to like this place.

I haven’t been here in years and decided to go back for some good Italian food. First and foremost this place has not changed in about 30 years. The restaurant is a little on the dirty side but I personally had no issues. Décor and interior is dated but of course that has nothing to do with the quality of food :) My husband and I were seated right away and the server greeted us as soon as we sat down. I ordered a medium pizza with mushrooms and my husband ordered gnocchi alla vodka. His dish came with a side salad, so he asked to get a side anitpasto salad. The server informed us there is an upcharge but never stated the amount(our bill reflected a $ 3.00 upcharge for this. That is ridiculous considering how small the salad is). Breadsticks are incredible — salty and buttery. My pizza was out of this world. The sauce is a sweet tomato sauce and the mushrooms were done so perfectly. The pizza was thin enough to eat alot, but thick enough to have some substance. The gnocchi alla vodka was good, but the gnocchi was not al dente. They did add way too much vodka sauce which was very think so you could barely even see the gnocchi. We had a good experience and I will for sure come back.

Pasquale’s has been around for ages and used to be a great place to meet friends for a pizza or wine and apps, or even just a solid, adequate Italian dinner. I have been several times over the years and always enjoyed it, until my experience there this past weekend. First off, I want to give props to the hostesses there who gave us a very friendly greeting upon arrival. As we sat down(in a fairly empty section) our waitress seemed friendly enough, and everything seemed fine until we placed our dinner order. When I asked what salad dressings were available, the waitress ran down an extensive list of dressings and halfway through gave me a look of exasperation, and her tone changed as if to say«Do I REALLY need to keep going? Can’t you just decide already?» The salad I got was some ready-made bag job that didn’t look anything like the nice spring mix on my boyfriend’s plate. When our basket containing five measly breadsticks arrived we didn’t think much of it, until another waitress passed us to bring another party of 2 a few tables back a heaping basket full of hot bread. When we politely asked for more bread, the waitress silently snatched the basket off the table and returned with four lousy breadsticks. From the salad dressing«incident» forward it seemed that any time we asked for something, which was not often, we were met with passive-aggressive silence or a terse«Okay.» To make matters worse, our section(empty except for our table and one other table of 2 as mentioned) seemed to be the employee downtime hangout, so as a group of servers stood around behind us, we were treated to tales of one waiter’s self-proclaimed«white trash» friend, as well as a rousing parody rendition of John Lennon’s «Imagine» courtesy of one waitress(possibly ours?) who only seemed to know one line, which she oh-so-cleverly changed to «Imagine there’s no people…» It was a very unwelcoming vibe to say the least. Of course when it was time to pay(read as: tip) we were thanked for coming and told to have a wonderful evening after being treated like stepchildren all damn night. In hindsight I probably should have spoken with management, but I figure the best response to this experience is to dine elsewhere from now on. I suspect that soon the waitstaff won’t have to «imagine there’s no people» at Pasquale’s if this decline in quality continues. Last but not least, my veal parmigiana was salty as hell, the marinara was bland and sugary and it all made me sick later that evening. So there’s that…

Pasquales why? A long time ago this was a very acceptable average place to get pizza or salad. The draw back in the day were bread sticks. There some issues not too far back and they either closed or were going to close… Anyway, they are open. Maybe they shouldn’t be. This place is beyond awful. One of the worst most meals I’ve attempted to eat. We arrived for early dinner and the place is pretty empty. We were greeted immediately by the friendly host… Yup might be ok… The waiter comes over gets our drinks as we look over the menu, not rude or friendly — either looks like he is very busy or maybe we smell bad. I order a Chicken Parmesan and Jess B orders Eggplant Parmesan. We get salad or soup and two side consisting of pasta, potato, or vegetables. The food soup(Italian wedding) and salad are standard items and are ok. The main course comes out too fast. My chicken is burnt with heavily sauce and cheese to hide it. It’s beyond salty and after two bites, I’m done… no box needed. The baked potato, which I didn’t eat might be the only credible thing about my meal as it has tin foil so I know it isn’t microwaved. Jess B’s meal on the other hand is one of the oddest and grossest looking things I’ve ever seen. The color of the heavily coated eggplant is black and gray. She takes one bite and doesn’t look happy. She give me a small bite, I’m not sure why because she knows it’s awful but I try it and it is so awful. She just eats the potato. The waiter walks over with a «how is everything?» pointing to each item I say«ok, bad, bad, gross». We ask if the eggplant it frozen, which you can tell it is. He says we make it in house. That doesn’t mean it was made then frozen then reheated. It is all breading and thin line of black and gray. He goes back and forth with us on the meal. I said that we will pay and we don’t want any boxes. He finally comes back and has taken her food off the bill. I left a nice tip because that is what you should do but the overall meal gets votes for worst of the year. The bread sticks are still decent but it’s not enough to make you want to come back. Overall, we wasted 25 dollars and had to go elsewhere for a meal.

Pasquales reminds me of the late 80’s.early 90’s with it’s style… it’s got that great Italian feel to it… it’s a sweet place with vintage charm for sure! A little bored with the farm to table. craft beer.craft coctail… craft etc… you get the idea… Pasquales brings it back to REAL with some great tasting food and dedicated service. I was part of a funeral banquet so I didn’t get to order food from the menu, only cocktails… your Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, whiskey type cocktails… We were served salad, bread, mostaccioli, pasta alfredo, potatoes, chicken, and eggplant parmesan. Let me start with the creamy garlic salad dressing… oh dear lord, grab a hold of your taste buds because this dressing is PHENOMINAL, and when I went to thank the servers upon leaving I mentioned this to them, and they told me they sold it by the quart! Guess who got some? ME! The bread was warm, soft, billowy, awesome! Mostaccioli had a really great flavor, along with the potatoes, and chicken. The food was so good, it took me well into the evening before I dared to replace those memories with something abysmal out of my fridge… well…besides the quart of dressing I bought earlier! Pasquales and the likes are going to be the next«big» thing in the dining out arena… Getting back to REAL and revisiting old favorites is what’s hot! Can’t wait to get back to Pasquales to try other original dishes!

Because Olive Garden ruined my favorite pasta by adding bacon into their sundried tomato sauce, I had been on the look out for a great Italian restaurant that can satisfy my pasta cravings. I usually pass by this place when driving back home, and since then I’ve been excited to come here to eat! The great thing about this place is the décor, and the setting. Looks real fancy from the outside, but inside they have subtle lights, and velvet colored booths. This gave me the impression that dinner was going to be amazing, but you know sometimes first impressions are NOT everything. I liked the breadsticks but everything else from there went downhill. The antipasto salad(which I got without any meat) was bland, the pasta I ordered tasted like WATER, and I don’t want to get started on the dessert we had. The service here was SOSO, the waitress didn’t answer a very simple question I had about the mushroom sauce, instead she suggested I order mushrooms on the side.(Which had nothing to do with my question). I’m a fair person, and I’m never hard on waiters and waitresses but I wasn’t happy with how she avoided answering my question. All in all, I was pretty disappointed, BUT I will come back a second time to try the vegetarian lasagna, and I do hope next time around, the food tastes as good as the place looks.

I had been here before many years ago, came back today because my dad had a $ 20 off coupon for his birthday since he’s in their email club(great deal!). We got a Greek salad(parents ate that, I’m not a salad person) which came with delicious breadsticks, and a large deep dish pizza with Italian sausage and mushrooms. The pizza was HUGE and the deep dish is the same price as the non-deep dish, so you may as well go for it. Food was fantastic and I would definitely come back just for that. Service was a little slow(was constantly waiting for water glass to be refilled) and the restaurant has kind of an odd set-up where I always had to wait by corners for people to come and go while walking to/from the restroom, otherwise this place would get 5⁄5 stars from me.
