Disrespectful service staff. This would be an awesome place if not for bartenders that were rude.

Every time is a nightmare. Slow service and always out of something. The management (whatever position he holds!) is so bad and he needs to stop smoking and hanging out. Be a manager/​boss/​owner! Damn. The food is basic bar food. The chunks (WOW, lol — Boneless Wings) have breading that has more breading than chicken. The drinks — they pour other liquor if they are out (never asked me!) of what you ask for. No question first or anything. The prices are fair though.
From reading other comments, Chelsea please don’t bother to comment on mine. I have read multiple of your responses. You should have no place putting comments out there for the business. You are rude, abrasive and have absolutely no customer service skills. You and your comments would be the reason to not visit this place again. (my point proven about customer service skills… SMH)

If you are stuck in Royal Oak and need Coke or heroin I’m sure you could get taken care of in this place. Have to admit it was funny watching the bartender puke from being so drunk. Apparently liquor control is not very strict in Oakland county.

It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t my favorite… my boyfriend and I went there because the place we originally wanted to eat at was on an hour wait and he wanted to watch the Steelers/​Bengals game. Lots of TV’s, so that’s a positive. We were told to sit wherever we wanted, so we grabbed a table not too far from the pool table so we were closer to the big cluster of TV’s.
It took about 10 minutes to finally get a waitress, and she had money hanging out of her bra, which was a bit different. Took our drink orders and brought them back pretty quick — no complaints there. Took our food order and didn’t write it down, but I’ve seen plenty of waitresses do that (myself included), so didn’t think anything of it. Food came out and my boyfriend ordered a Philly, but instead got a French Dip. No problem — they’re not really a whole lot different. My ranch chicken wrap was eh — not a whole lot of flavor. I wouldn’t get it again.
I think if I went back here again, it’d just be for drinks. Kind of reminds me of a college bar.

Went there for the first time Sunday to watch the Lions play. Surprised at the negative reviews. Thought it was a really cool bar, plenty of good TVs all over. Food was good bar food type of fair and the beers was cold and reasonable. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon.
Plus there were some nice looking ladies there enjoying the game as well.
It is an Irish Sports Bar type of place… and it was exactly what I expected it be be only a little better.

Here is the thing… the reason most people have a problem here is they forget the servers are people… you don’t talk to them like they are your slave. Maybe a little respect would go a long way… this bar is what it is an Irish sports bar… the food is good more tappers then just about any bar in RO… and if you go on a busy night you might just have to wait a minute for a drink… By the way… Wings are still better then BWW…

Service sucks and so does management. I tried to get a video of the manger berating his staff but I was shooting pool and couldn’t get to my phone fast enough. Beers and shots were fine when we could actually find our server to order them. The manager seems extremely unqualified for his position: he seems he would rather boss around his staff than be a leader as a manager should be: and it was also extremely unprofessional to do in front of us as customers. I won’t be back and neither will my friends.

This place is dirty, dirty, dirty. The clientele is dirty. The floors are dirty. The bathrooms are dirty. The cocktails are weak and overpriced, and the waitresses are borderline rude. Someone in my party ordered coffee with Irish cream in it. She said «Ugh, you’re really going to make me make coffee?» Yes. Do your fucking job.
When we arrived, the bouncers were trying to get rid of some guy who kept coming back in the bar through the back door. They seriously couldn’t put somebody back there or lock the damn door? They threw him out about 4 times.
If you want to go to a douchey bar filled with 100 dudes who want to pick up any breathing female or else fight any guy they see, this is the place for you. And what was with all the women wearing wigs? Everywhere you turned, there was long fake hair and short skimpy dresses with vaginas hanging out as far as the eye could see.
Disgusting.

This place is so bad! The food is horrendous, the wait staff is disgusting. Literally vile and when she calls me baby and honey and sweetie it literally curls my stomach.
The beer is cold and decently priced but outside of that, run away… run far far away

A good bar, that is a ton of fun on Thursday nights. A great place for beer towers and some good laughs.

Place isn’t too exciting, only time I will go is on a Thursday for mug night because it’s extremely cheap but horribly loud. Like, so loud that you can’t even talk to the person next to you. If you get a seat, the music videos are pretty comical to watch. They’ve recently expanded to filling different beers in the mugs as well. Bud light, Labatt, Labatt light, pbr, and coors.

Cool bar vibe didn’t eat but has a great beer selection. Lots of tv’s and has a lots of space. Staff is very friendly and welcoming

The bartender filled my cup up twice with all foam on mug night. Literally 2oz of beer. After the 2^nd time I asked to recieve an honest glass of beer. She refused and the bouncers kicked me out. The bouncers would not try to listen when I told them what had happened and instead physically threaten me.

O’Tooles. Hahaha just the name makes me laugh.
Are they trying to be the douchiest bar in royal oak? I mean, that honor goes to Wild Woodies, but this is a very close second.
The servers suck, and seem they don’t have an education beyond the tenth grade.
The customers are worse. If you come here, I’d suggest taking a flea bath after.

I’ve been here a couple times, as it’s a common lunch spot for my co-​workers… Honestly it always smells like port-​o-​potty «air freshener» in here. Seriously. Even with the entire patio section open.
Food is ok, your average pub-​ish fare. I always get the southwest wrap. Would be a lot better if I didn’t have that weird smell lingering in the back of my nose, though.

I don’t love this place, but I don’t hate it either. However, I kind of find this place disgusting. All of the waitresses and bartenders are pretty. Of course. This is a bar. They have a shot girl who circles the whole place over & over again. They have one pool table, where this group of guys controlled all night. The tables are pretty sticky and gross. I tried really hard to not touch my table or the chairs. The food was pretty mediocre. My friends said they have better hamburgers at their workplace cafeteria. I had the fish and chips. Not sure what type of fish they used or batter, but it def was not cod. Probably, my least favorite fish & chips. The coleslaw was really gross. STAY AWAY FROM THAT. A plus for those onion rings though. Those were addicting. The positive thing is that the have a good selection of beer according to my boyfriend. Lots of beers on drafts. They also offered samples of their beers that are on draft. Service was good, but def not my type of bar.

The Nachos and Wings are excellent–

They sincerely charge your card more than you intend. I got two beers and was charged $ 20.00. The bartender called me a little bitch. Manager lies and its a trash bar. The waitresses have no sense of customer service. Can’t say i’ll be rushing back.

Really? Within 2 min I was wondering 1) how this place is in Royal Oak, 2) what’s in the mystery shots (a little afraid), 3) why am I here.
My wife said this place made her feel dirty, but not in the good way that I like.
Gusoline Alley is a RO dive bar (I highly recommend), but this place is just a dive (s%&t hole).

I came here for dinner after the zoo.
The service was great.
Solid Service and Happy Hour deals.
I ordered the fish and chips. I tiny bit over cooked, but the pub fries were ever so yummy and the cole slaw was the perfect tasting slaw.
Ordered a nice dinner salad too. It was very yummy and crisp, which is rare for a pub.
Next time I go, I’m definitely going to take advantage of the half off wings at Happy Hour. They smelled amazing and the person who had them LOVED them.
