Basic diner food at diner prices. No complaints for super full for under $ 10. Skillets and omelettes are filling and delicious. Pancakes were large and French toast was eggy and crunchy. The Greek twist to some of the dishes are great!!!

Gyros was pretty standard and a bargain at $ 4.79 including a cup of soup. Lemon rice soup tasted as good as typically found is such establishments. The problem was the food went right through to the other end within 20 minutes(!) and 4 hours later stomach still aches.

I had lunch here this afternoon. The server sat at a booth for 15 minutes while our plates were stacked at the end of the table and no one else was in the restaurant. Once she finally summoned the strength to get up, she offered us dessert because it «comes with the meal.» Then she charged us both for our desserts. The owner was sitting in the booth behind us and didn’t even correct her, so it’s obvious they’re allowed to lie to boost their tabs. It’s one thing to upsell, and another to lie completely. I paid for the bill and tipped her, because I don’t like to make a scene, but they just lost two customers forever. Two customers who are willing to tip well for good service! I have to say however, that the older server who is usually working is very nice. I can only recommend this place for saganaki and lemon rice soup, which is easy to find anywhere. You can get everything else they serve at National’s, for better quality, right down the road.

My go to breakfast place. Cheap and good with super fast service. Really cheap breakfast specials, especially during the week, like Mickey D’s prices. Good coffee too. The owner is the cook, and he’s always there.

I don’t review a lot of places, but today I take the time to say thank you to Grecian house. Expedient service, friendly staff, reliable food. I love food of all kinds, and will travel far and wide but when I want comfort, and to not think or be surprised in the bad way, GH for breakfast is always the fallback. And when I’m getting off of a night shift and want to eat breakfast in bed, they pack up a great to go that is always ready for me to grab on the way home. I gravitate to the skillets, perfect over easy eggs every time. Reliable and satisfying, a gem in a food desert.

This place bounces back and forth between 2 names. Larry’s Coney or something like that… Anyway, the chef uses a wire brush to clean the grill — I’ve had a wire bristle stuck in my mouth twice here. Never going back as it hurts like hell. Not to mention whatever infection I could get from that… bleughghghgh. Food isn’t consistent, service either. So yet another place to go if you’re starving, have time constraints, etc.

We have been frequenting this place after moving in the area and we love it. It’s divey and cheap and serves up some pretty good fare. I agree with fellow Unilocaler that the Greek salad rocks! Some of the best dressing I’ve ever had. The breakfasts are good, however the whole wheat toast is likely from a stale loaf of $ .99 bread and the«potato pancakes» are really frozen hash brown patties… all of which can be forgiven, good eggs & hashbrowns and my man said the Greek omelette was outstanding. We tried the pan fried perch recently and fell in love! Some of the best EVER!!! Really! For under 10 bucks you get soup or salad, choice of potato or rice, 4 nice pieces of perfectly cooked perch and a desert. YUM! Good for carry out too.

Terrible service. Even worse food. One of the worst dining experiences in my life. I ordered an omelette MINUS cheese and after a very, very long wait, it was brought out to me with cheese in it. After sending it back, I finally got another one. There was no cheese this time, but instead, a huge chunk of egg shell. Another person in our party received stale toast and dry bacon. The rest of the food was lacking, as well. While we sat waiting forever to order, another party came in who knew the staff and their order was taken immediately and food served immediately. While they were diligently waited on, we went without refills and were ignored. The place wasn’t even that busy! There were maybe three tables in the whole place, including us. I will never ever set foot in this place again and would advise anyone else to steer clear of the place as well.

This is a great diner for a quick and tasty meal. I love thier fish and chips. You can’t beat the portion and taste. It is not frozen fish. I have ordered fish and chips at other coney diners and have been so disappointed. Not here! They actully make their own batter. The wait staff is extremely friendly and the owner is always present and extremely nice!!! This is a very clean resturant and the service is great!

What are things you look for in a dining establishment? Good food, good service and value. This place has none of these things. The expirence was horrible starting with the customer service down to the hard as a rock toast. I wanted to leave our waitress a tip«find another job» and tell the owner if you want to expand your business make the new customers feel welcomed. We came in and waited about 10 – 15 minutes to place our ordered while some regulars came in and were ordering as they sat down. They even got their food as we were ordering. Then the put cheese in an omelette ordered without cheese, remake the omelette with a surprise egg shell. Then have the nerve to charge us for it. Disgusting. The bacon was dry, along with the hash browns and toast, well toast was hard as a rock, barely even able to bite through it. Basically this is the wrost place I’ve been to in years. PLEASESAVEYOURSELF A HORRIBLEEXPIRENCE!!!

I can enjoy a dive restaurant for breakfast after a night of boozing but i still have my standards. This place is not good, period. My eggs were undercooked, my hash browns were burnt on the outside yet undercooked on the inside, and my toast was cold and soggy. The staff was a little unresponsive and slow. This place sucks, i would have been better off cooking myself breakfast.

This place is great value for good food. Nothing fancy or gourmet, just good homemade food for a really fair price.
