Hart’s Lake Resort & Deli

This is A fantastic option for those of us who already live in this area and have few nearby eateries to choose from.
Three of us showed up for lunch on Saturday afternoon. We were the only people there and chose our own table. It’s a quaint café, the hosts are lovely and accommodating.
The tables are set in a way reminiscent of the days when people all sat for dinner together. Each table has a notebook in which you are encouraged to share your dining experience.
My grilled chicken burger was stuffed with large portions of tenderloin & sides (not a fan of sweet pickles tho) & the curly fries were crispy & delicious.
The portions are generous, the view of the lake is lovely, and the place (although a bit disheveled) is a gem.
We will be back!

Lori greets us with a cheery hello and big hug. Bob creates culinary magic with his daily special. It’s like walking into grandma’s house. Family style seating. No one’s a stranger. Food is presented gastronomical pleasing. Aroma, visually and pallet pleasing, to say the least.
We’ve enjoyed the Stellar salmon with bernaisse sauce. The savory crepes, their spaghetti plate will definitely fill you up!
Lori serves up a beautiful salad of greens, tomatoes, and a fresh fruit tossed in. We’ve been served it with strawberries and the other night, blueberries.
We highly recommend this fine little dining experience. It’s like «Welcome home, friends «!

Bob and Laurie“s hospitality and home cooking is the real full meal deal. Well on way to bringing on a new menu to the traditional fare, look for a comfortable setting beside a beautiful lake. Out of the way but worth your time.
