Bliss Experience

I absolutely fell in love with this place. The ladies are super friendly and accommodating. They weren’t able to get me in when I wanted, and actually called me when they had a cancellation (like the other salons say they’ll do, but never follow through). I went in for the first time and was greeted promptly with a smile by Andrea, and then introduced to Heather.
Heather is AMAZING. I went in wanting to cut my hair pretty short, she didn’t hesitate or try to talk me out if it, she just educated me on my type of hair and what will work best. She really pays attention to detail and has an eye for style. She makes you feel comfortable and is excited to share her knowledge and experience in her field.
As for the salon itself, it’s a gem. It’s in kind of a weird spot, not scary or a bad part of town or anything, just odd location. I have lived here for a bit over 2 years, and just discovered it in a whim, but I’m so glad I did! It’s low-​key and has a down-​to-​earth feel, with no pressure to buy extra services or products, which I really appreciate
They also have an esthetician there who was happy to talk about my skin and things that might work for me, and even offered for me to go back to her table after my cut, but I didn’t have time… but I will definitely be seeing her soon!
With a busy lifestyle, it’s hard to find time for yourself, but if you do, I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I love this place! Stephanie is great. She’s by far the best stylist I’ve encountered since moving here 3 years ago. The salon is beautiful and the receptionist is very friendly and accommodating. I tend to have fragile hair and I have never experienced dry or damaged hair after having Aveda perms or color. The styling products smell amazing. My cut is always fantastic and my hair is always beautifully styled when I leave. (Unfortunately, I can’t stop by for a blow out on my way to work everyday…)
I also highly recommend using Aveda shampoos and conditioners. Although they seem expensive, I have found that I use substantially less shampoo because Aveda smooths through my hair much easier than cheaper shampoos. The conditioners also go a very long way and are extremely lite. My hair never feels greasy or heavy. Additionally, I can immediately tell the difference if I accidentally run out and need to use a lower quality substitute. (My back up is Matrix Biolage and my hair feels noticeably drier and more course after even a single shampoo.)
I highly recommend giving Bliss Experience a visit. It really is blissful. :)

I cannot be more pleased every time I come in. The stylist and receptionist are so friendly and had always been able to work with my hectic schedule. I have been here 3 times, the original time getting more then 8 inches cut off. I got tips on how to style my new do and they recommended some amazing products by Aveda. I have talked this salon up to everyone I know needing a great stylist.

I absolutely love experiencing bliss with Stephanie. She’s been cutting my hair for five years now. And her salon is totally blissful. From the moment I step in the door (where I’m greeted with a smile and offered a beverage) until I leave, I feel totally pampered. Stephanie always starts out with a refreshing scalp massage. After shampoo but before beginning the actual hair cut, she takes you on a «sensory journey»… A neck massage with your choice of aromatherapy oil. On top of that, she always cuts my hair exactly right. Her suggestions are spot on. I’ve always left totally happy! I really like the Aveda line, too. My hair is always so smooth and soft. This is one of the nicest salons I’ve been to and I love that it’s a secret gem in this small town.

This is absolutely my favorite salon of all time. The stylists are skilled and up to date with all the modern styles ++++. Love bliss.
