Great people, prices are just too high for the area. They charged $ 10.50 for a 6 pack of Corona Light(don’t judge).

This is the only place I go while in the mission hill area. They are friendly and their prices are fair. The place is small but they always have what I want and have always been polite.

I’ve been here a quite a few times in the past few years. My friend L lives in the area and I’ve stopped here when walking from the T to her apartment. I came here last week to get a 30 and then to head to my friends house. They guy was helpful when I asked if he could grab me a 30 in the back and he did. He was really nice about it and the cashier was funny too. I don’t get the hate! I guess I don’t frequent it enough. Yes it’s tiny and crammed with alcohol, but it does the job because that is why you go in there. There are also several other packies in the vicinity so it isn’t the only option for people. I chose this location because I was getting off the T and I knew this place since I had gone before. The prices are great in my opinion though, $ 18 for a 30 of Keystone… ahh yes, heaven.

I love this place. It is extremely convenient for anyone living on Mission Hill or in the Brigham Circle Area. Every time I go in there the cashiers recognize me and say hello politely. For a small shop, their selection is amazing. From craft beers to a great wine selection, this place has it all. I especially like that they carry nearly every size of every liquor here so whatever your needs are for that night, they can help you out. Since the place is so small, there is obviously not a lot of room to wander around the store, but they do have a fantastic nook where they keep their best wines. Always stocked, fair prices, and a great staff. I will never shop anywhere else in the area for as long as I live here.

I used to love this place because of its accessibility and fun cashiers, but after a recent experience when one of the cashiers noted that I had not been there in awhile and it looked like I had gained some weight, they lost 2. Inappropriate and while somewhat accurate I pride myself on my athletic body and was pretty pissed off that instead of noticing my change of hair color he decided to comment on the fact that I’m no longer living off of wine and ramen noodles.

The one star rating stands, I just wanted to say that there was a fire above this place the other week and it wrecked their sign. Ha ha ha ha ha ha! I’ve always thought that MH Liquors was in violation of the fire code with their aisles so narrow and crammed with cardboard. I’m shocked this dump didn’t go up in flames as well. Also, learn to use a damn broom and mop, for Christ’s sake.

5 stars for being both close to my house, and the cleanest and most attractive liquor store I’ve ever been into. It has nice shiny wooden floors, an open plan with space to wander, and a good selection. They have at least 4 cider options that include strongbow, magners, woodchuck, and something else(honestly what else do you need?) The prices are fair and the service is good. Polite cashiers.
