It was okay. The internet never really worked. It said I was connected, but I could never get any websites to load. I worked maybe twice in two days I stayed. The bed was more like a rock and the pillows were awful. I slept actually pretty horribly here. The breakfast the hotel supplies in the morning is sub-par. Its okay, but its definitely not the best. I would only stay here if you can’t afford a better place.

Basic, clean, and to the point — can’t really go wrong, eh.

Economy price, homey clean place. Extremely clean rooms. Extremely nice and accommodating staff. Not 4 star, but at this price, just perfect. Recommended highly. The staff makes the difference!

The Innkeeper is a smaller lodging chain in NC&VA. At the Innkeeper you will find the rooms to be clean and nice for an independent chain. Most of the rooms are exterior entrances, but there is an area near the office with a few interior entrance rooms. I found my king room to be clean and nicely furnished with good desk area, quality tv picture and channel selection, microfridge, strong wifi signal, and comfortable bed. Very quiet with no noise from other guests or the road. Only problem was a broken recliner, which I reported upon checkout to an embarrassed front desk clerk. Pricing is very reasonable, especially compared with the only other quality lodging choice in town, the Hampton Inn next door, with rooms costing $ 30+ per night more than the Innkeeper.
