Only 2 cons are that it’s very smoky inside, and gravelly lot isn’t the most fun for motorcycle maneuvering, just saying… Aside from that, super fun place; everyone knows everyone kinda close knit place; welcome of outsiders. Cool shuffleboard; two maintained billiards tables, cheap food and drink, friendly staff

My favorite bar to go to when I come home. Drinks are great the bartender has worked here for years and she knows her shit. Probably the greatest dive bar known to man. Karaōke, shuffle board, 2.50 burger nights there is nothing more I could ask for. Never disappointed with the services or product. Keep it up guys!

You know the bar that Arnie throws the bikers around in at the beginning of Terminator 2? They filmed that here (you would have a hard time convincing me they didn’t).

The Rose is like the bar Arnold Schwarzenegger walked into to get his biker clothes in the movie Terminator ll, minus the biker gang. It’s friendly and most of the people in there know each other.

People have bday parties here. Yay fun so awsome. People buy ballons and put them all over establishment on floor. Yay fun. Couple ballons get popped and people hosting party get upset. Sorry it’s accident. Bartender 30 seconds later comes over yelling cursing. R we really fighting over ballons. Bartender follows us outside trying to start something. Real Mature

Love me some Rambl’n Rose!

I used to like this bar until one of the bartenders had a complete meltdown while she was running the shuffleboard tournament. Other than that one person acting like a mental case, I guess you can say the burgers are good, and most everyone else is nice. :)

Love the rose. Been here tons of times, and it is a great dive bar if you can take the smoke. The burgers are probably the best in rowlett! There is always a crowd, and you usually know half of them from the neighborhood.

It’s smoky inside, it stinks and there is zero ventilation. The drinks are WAY over poured. True dive bar, but I think they should do some light dusting at the very least. Gross.
Not to mention the bathroom. I didn’t want to touch anything, I thought I was going to catch something. Totally disgusting. I ordered a burger which was really good but I seriously couldn’t finish it after what I saw in the bathroom. Pass the hand sanitizer! In fact, just pour it over my head because I’m pretty sure it’s needed.

Holy Crap! This place is awesome. DJ Foreskin laid down the karaōke the Saturday night we were there. Great people, great time. had a good time people watching… expcially the Polyamorous group that seemed to be having a birthday party there!

Redneck Dive Bar at it’s finest! Great jukebox, great karaōke DJ on the weekends. Not too crowded. The shuffleboard table plays true. It is a private club, so smoking is allowed, and almost appears to be a must. I wish they had better smoke eaters to get rid of the smoke.

Ahhh… The Ramblin Rose! This is the BEST dive bar (and grill, they just don’t have it on their sign.) I have ever step foot in, so far! It’s kinda like «Cheers» Everybody knows your name… I have been a patron of this bar for a few years now. It is in walking distance to my house.
Be prepared for loud DJ/​Karaōke, but it is good, fun music every time! The DJ is an absolute hoot! And he keeps the party hopping til 2 in the mornin…(Seriously!). It is rather smoky and they could stand for some updating on their ventilation system.
But hey, there’s cheap, STRONG drinks to take your mind off of your eyes burning out of your head… LOL!
The crowd is very diverse just as everyone else has mentioned. And OMG! let me tell you, they have the BEST burger in town (in my opinon)!!
They Char-​grill that bad boy, toast yo bun a little and load it with whatever you want… Oh and CHEESE… yummmm…Then they add a mound of plain potato chips to the plate! Two people can share this burger and chips and be full!
They have specials every nite. Monday is free pool, Tue you can get that burger I just described for $ 2.00! Along with $ 2.00 beer. I know, unbelievable, right? I can’t remember the other specials. Thursday they have shuffle board tournaments, and that’s alot of fun! So, the next time your in Rowlett, stop on by the Rose and have yerself a damn good time!

Dive Bar is the only way to describe this place and it’s one of the best! The people that come in are so diverse, some red neck some biker some prep but for the most part they seem to meld together and coexist in this tiny little bar very well. It funny to sit back and watch a 6 foot 2 biker play pool with a guy in a suite and get his butt kicked. This is one of my favorite places I don’t get over there near often enough.

It’s definitely one of our go to places when the kiddo is not home and we have nothing to really do or want to do.
Great place to talk to someone friendly and just hang out.

This place is the very definition of dive bar-​and I mean that as one hell of a compliment!
Its a small bar and there are alot of regulars0but also a lot of people who are newbies! It is as eclectic a mix as I have ever seen at a watering hole (21 year olds up to the geriatric set). Rednecks, preps, and all manner of inbetweens help make this place a great place to have a cheap but strong drink.
Keep in mind this place can get really smokey so if that bothers you don’t waste your time stopping. Also it can get quite rowdy so if that bother you move on. the Karaōke can be quite funny.
If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop on in. Guys pay attention to the great mix of modern and old fashioned in the mens room (automatic flusher on the tin trough urinal). Good Times.

If you’re expecting high class — go somewhere else.
If you’re looking for where everyone goes to chill out and have fun, you’re in the right place.
And yes, it can get a little rowdy. :P

Great little watering hole right behind Waterview in Rowlett. Always a good, diverse group of people here and everyone is respectful for the most part. The crowd seems to get younger as the night gets later which is definitely alright by me, but the age ranges from early 20’s up to 70’s. Drinks are pretty strong. There are only two pool tables and a shuffle board table. I really wish the place was bigger but it’s still very fun. Karaōke on Friday and Saturday nights. Service is excellent-​Shirley and Morris are great bartenders. Drink prices are about average. Surely wish they were cheaper, but I could say that about most places.
If you don’t like smoke, I advise you to stay away. Due to the small size of the place (it’s more like a small frame house), the smoke can get very thick. I find myself smelling like smoke for a few days afterward, and yes I do shower! Parking is not great at all and the later it gets it becomes worse. The place really starts to fill up around midnight.

i came here with two of my girlfriends. it was very chill. alot of good olé country boys and hot mama’s. they have pool tables and karaōke.
i was only there for a hour and it was love at first sight. i really loved it. very small town bar… only thing is good luck getting parking. its packed but thats the way i like it. oh & when you leave be sure you’ll possibly have rowlett police on ya.
